The Media Services Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is producing a new collection of videos portraying stories from, “The New Testament.”  They are in search of an actor to portray the role of “Jesus Christ.”

Required Qualifications:  

(1)   Male;

(2)   Performing age 30’s;

(3)    Able to grow a beard;

(4)   5’11” or taller with defined musculature;

(5)   Must be able to speak and perform in English;

(6)   Must have a commanding, spiritually-grounded presence;

(7)    Must be legally eligible to work in the United States;

(8)   If chosen, must be available to work in Utah for the duration of the shoot (about 4 months).

Requested (but not required):

(1)    An active, worthy member of the LDS Church;

(2)   A strong background in acting would be helpful;

(3)    Union or non-union actors are welcome to apply.

JAKE 18 to 25 year old Male. Jake is a good looking college kid. He is slightly more responsible than his friends but still likes to have fun. Jake’s Role: Jake and his friend Nick take their friends up to an abandoned building to scare them. Little do they know a serial killer is on the loose. Jake sees something more than what he was supposed to! They soon become involved in a situation they never intended to be in. The actor playing Jake’s part must be willing to run a short distance.

NICK 18 to 25 year old Male. Nick is an outgoing guy, sometimes over the top. He is funny, charming, and he is a ladies man. He is willing to do almost anything to get a thrill. Nicks Role: Nick is Jake’s sidekick. They are best friends and willing to do anything for each other. Jake and Nick take their friends up to an abandoned building to scare them, little do they know a serial killer is on the loose. Jake sees something more than what he was supposed to! They soon become involved in a situation they never intended to be in. Nick supports Jake in getting out of the situation. The actor playing Nicks part must be willing to run a short distance.

CHELSEY 18 to 25 year old Female. Chelsey is a flirty girl who is madly in love with nick. Chelsey’s Role: Chelsey is one of the friends that Nick and Jake take to the abandoned building to scare. The actor playing Chelsey's part must be willing to run a short distance.

AGENT ADAMS 18 to 25 year old Male. Agent Adams is a typical FBI agent, strong, fast, good with a gun. Agent Adams Role: Agent Adams and his partner question Jake and Nick to figure out who committed the murders. The actor playing agent Adams must be able to handle a prop gun (Airsoft gun)

KASSEY 18 to 35 year old Female. Kassey is a good-looking girl who likes Jake but doesn’t want a serious relationship. She still flirts with Jake but doesn’t make any moves. Kassey’s Role: She goes to the old abandoned building with Jake, Nick and Chelsey. She is scared to go in.

ASHLEY NELSON 18 to 25 year old Female. Ashley is a pretty young girl.Ashley’s Role: She eventually will be the dead body. The Actor playing this role must be able to hold themselves off the ground for 10 seconds at a time. (Don’t worry its not as hard as it sounds.)

MANINDRA “Diamond” NEW PROPERTY OWNER. Persian/Indian features, able to play 30-50 years old. Preferred Partial Hindu/English Speaker. Buys the land from Ali Hafed and then discovers the diamond mine with the Buddhist Priest Humble Man

ALI HAFED’S SON BALAMANI “Young Jewel.” Persian/Indian features, able to play 12 - 15 years old. Innocent, sees his father as a king

Male can play ages 30-50. Mobster accent a plus. Mobster outfit also a plus. This character is grabbed by time travelers to be brain washed into killing corporate heads in New York. He is tied to a chair but is released by a time traveler that turns on the others.

Male can play ages 20-30. Fighting experience a plus. A time-traveling agent out to change history.

Female can play ages 20-30. Fighting experience a plus. A time-traveling agent out to change history.

Male can play ages 30-40. Fighting experience a plus. This character is the leader of a small group of time-travelers bent on changing the world by changing its history.

Male can play ages 12-17. Blonde hair. Is kidnapped by a time traveler and killed.

JIM. Age: 26. Height: 6’1”. Hair color: Black. Facial hair: scruffy. Caucasian Features. Build: average. Main character is dealing with an accident that he caused that left his girlfriend stuck in a coma. Jim is trying to find out what might get her out of the coma.

LAYLA. Age: 26. Height: 5'9. Caucasian Features. Build: average: Supporting Actress. She is in a coma. She tells Jim what she wants more than life itself.
