We are working with an event management company looking to hire Male and Female Promo Models ages 18-35 for an upcoming expo in Las Vegas Tuesday, March 1 & Wednesday, March 2.
 
They will need you to distribute product and talk about their product. Specifically they are looking for attractive energetic models that can attract people to their show booth. They have over 400sqft of open space which includes a pop a shot, Plinko board, money machine, and samples to include chocolates, and their booklet called 21 Great ideas.
 
If selected they will have a two hour training period on Monday February 28, 2011 and you will need to work 6 hours per day on March 1 & 2. Pay is $14/hr.

Most actors spend more time going from audition to audition than they do actually acting.  And since the audition is essentially the "job interview" that will determine whether or not you get the part, it's crucial to make a good impression and give the best performance possible.  However, whenever we hold auditions for our next project, we are surprised at how few actors follow the protocol and have a good audition.

Military Family Stock Photo/Video Shoot, Boise

We have a studio out of Boise, Idaho that is interested in doing a Military Family stock video/photo shoot using Male and Female Models. Non-speaking
 
Looking for actual Military personnel with a Uniform. It doesn't matter if you are current or not and members of family.
 
The shoot will be the end of this week or beginning of next week (Feb. 21). Exact time TBA
 
Pay for this shoot is $40 per hour.

"Weighted" Casting Call - Male/Female 23-40, Utah

February 9, 2011

An upcoming BYU Senior Capstone project, "Weighted," is a short film about a girl who can't fly. Or rather, her story about being the twin sister of a boy who discovers this surprising ability. Set in a realistic contemporary world, this piece is both comedic along with poignant sibling relationship drama.

Damon, age 23-28, Slim to Average
Damon has just discovered a newfound ability to fly.  He tries to get used to and master his talent, as well as console his sister who is unable to fly.
Pay: TBD ($100+)
 
Maya, age 23-28, Slim to Average
Maya is coming to terms with her brothers new ability to fly. She is a talented rockclimber. 
Pay: TBD ($100+)
 
BOTH of these parts are going to be fairly physically demanding. Rock climbing is going to be the main skill, but there will be some harnesses and such to support the actors as well for special effects.
 
Boss, age 30-40,Slim to Average
This is a very minor role.  He is the boss of Maya and merely comments on her climbing abilities.
Pay: $50 for the job.

Synopsis: Adam and Jill are fresh off a night of celebration for their wedding anniversary and life is as sweet as frosting.... everything is always sweetest on the surface…

Roles:

HERBERT (20's-30's) is a young overachiever at the office who has fallen in love with a married woman twice his age. While she may be good in bed, his patience is wearing thin for her to separate from her overweight husband.

PRISCILLA (20's-30's) is a shapely lady of class and elegance, but with an elemental side, which shows more and more as the facade of politeness erodes with the persistence of her lover's attachment to his irritating wife.

A 14 page short film intended for international film festival submission.
This film is PG-13 to R in it's content.

- Synopsis -
In a political environment where corruption and greed runs unchecked and unbalanced, the hands of prudence take a new approach to societal convalescence when Eli kidnaps a corrupt Senator as collateral for communal restitution.

- Character Breakdowns -

Anchorwoman - (mid 30's) - An intelligent and well articulated career-anchorwoman who loves to report the news almost as much as she loves to smile. Competent and strong willed, this girl is headed straight to the top.

Senator Gald-Iron - (Early 50's) - A popular government figure with a dark side. He is a handsome man who commands every room he enters, behind a warm smile and cold, piercing eyes. His goals in life are simple; Excess and Power. Perverted by the corruption of both, he will do anything to secure whatever he wants in life, and to feed his secret fetish for young girls and cocaine.

Eli - (Early to Mid 30's) - A darkly handsome man of conviction. Calm and collected, Eli knows what he wants and he gets it. What Eli wants is public freedom from the suppressions of governmental corruption and abuse at any cost. He is willing to go to great lengths, at great risk to himself, to ensure that the cause of a better world is
realized. His strength comes from the support of his fellow Revolutionists, an unseen group of common-minded people who strive to perfect society and protect it from the wills of political corruption.

Stoner Girl - (Early 20's) - Sexy and she knows it. Stoner Girl has a dependency on hard drugs and will go to any length to get them, most often by male attention and working as a Madam for underage girls. She is sweet in
spite of this due to being perma-stoned.

Governmental Official - (late 30's to early 40's) - Married to his career, this Poindexter has learned a level of self-confidence due to years of working as a public official. Smart enough to get by, but overall not too bright, this
Official is doomed to a life of pencil pushing.

Suit - (Early to mid 40's) - All business and perfectly single, the Suit is a handsomely confident man with a
secret. This could be due to working in the Investigative branch of his government, where he is constantly overseeing classified material and research, or it could just be due to his piercing eyes that always seem to know more than he should.

Janitor - (40's to 50's) - A weather-worn man with a face like leather due to years of working with chemicals and hand tools to maintain a pack-a-day smoking habit and put enough food on the table for himself and his mutt of a dog. - No Dialogue -

College-Aged Girl - (early to mid 20's) - A pretty girl with a nervous composure. Her political interest begins and ends with Political Science-101, which requires political convention attendance for points. - No Dialogue -

Snide Desk Attendant - (Middle Aged Woman) - A stern and professional woman who ogles harshly down her long nose in any instance of serious discussion or hotel desk inquisitions. - No Dialogue -

Security Guard #1 - (30 Something) - This meathead is all muscle and all serious. In an oversized business suit, this watchdog is the Senator's right hand man. He loves his job and the many opportunities it offers to deliver pain and suffering to any poor fool that impacts the Senator in a negative way.

Security Guard #2 - (30 Something) - This meathead is all muscle and all serious. In an oversized business suit, this watchdog is the Senator's left hand man. He loves his job and the many opportunities it offers to deliver pain and suffering to any poor fool that impacts the Senator in a negative way.

Overdosed Teen Girl - (mid-teens) - This glossy-eyed teenager's pretty face is unkempt and too skinny. With the personality of a beaten puppy, the poor girl has suffered from years of being sold to the mercy of sexual predators and drug and alcohol abuse. Her life's trappings have led her to the Senator, who has a perverted fetish for young girls and cocaine. - No Dialogue -

Intern-Boy - (Early 20's) - Preppy-type college boy. Spends as much time getting ready each day as he does on homework and he does both quite well. - No Dialogue -
