Thomas Brecheisen (prod.-dir.) is casting Here to Help, a UNLV student film about a Catholic counselor with a fear of confrontation who is forced to keep an abused child in danger. Although the film is set in a Catholic Church, it's not a church video and actors do not need to be Catholic. Participation in this film is to satisfy the director’s graduation requirements at UNLV. Some reshooting to meet professor demands may be required. Although this is a student film, it will be managed and conducted in a professional manner and is open to SAG actors. My name is Glen Simister, Director of the short Student Film "God Hates Me." We have a very enthusiastic crew that are all ready to make a great film -- we are putting a heavy emphasis on creating a film, not a "student production." We are looking at creating something worth seeing, for both our future profiles and, of course, to expand the portfolio of our local actors/actress.

We are in need of Two Leads, One Female Supporting, and Three Male Supporting roles.

But, as we are making a student film our budget is very low and cannot afford to pay my crew or performers. I will however feed you on set as well as give you a DVD/files of the film when completed. If you are in need of payment for gas mileage, that may be arranged.

Here is a brief synopsis of our film:

"Set in a world where God is ever-present and deeply involved with everyone's day-to-day lives. Our protagonist, Lundy, has never had an embraceable relationship with God, in fact, it's quite strained. Their relationship grows increasingly twisted as Lundy realizes he is the only one receiving bad treatment from the otherwise chauvinistic and embraceable God -- A light and layered observational farce on our individual relationships with societal norms."

Our first filming date is set to be the 15th of February and will be filming on a few sporadic days until the 28th.

Synopsis:
1930's Hollywood. After years of auditioning, and living in borderline poverty she is propositioned by two producers to get her foot in the door with "Stag" pictures. As Allison grasps to take control of her life, the consequences of her actions, her emotions and feelings of helplessness have a heavier toll than she can handle.
Characters:
Allison - (20's to early 30's, but must look like they can be mid 20ish) - A struggling actress in 1930's Hollywood, Allison will do anything that it takes to raise herself out of her impoverished situation and make it big in the picture business.
Chastity - (20's to 30's) - More worldly and free spirited, Chastity has long ago let her dreams for stardom go and is happy to get paid to do the dirty work of the picture business. Serves as a kind, if not a bit raunchy, mentor towards Allison as she struggles with her new role in films.
Mr. Wright - (30's-40's) - A producer with shady business practices, he is a man with a charming demeanor but a more sleazy and sinister purpose who is in it for the money, and doesn't care who he hurts or offends in the process.

The film is PG-13 in its content.

Actors will be paid a modest day rate, on top of having food and gas expenses covered if applicable.

MAJOR CASTING FOR HILTON PARK CITY PHOTO SHOOT, Adults 30-49, kids 6-7 and 12-14, Utah

Craze Agency will be holding a casting on Wednesday, February 2 for an upcoming Hilton shoot in Park City, Utah.
 
Shooting will be March 2 and 3 (Wed. and Thurs.). This will be a video and still casting, although the actual shoot is a still photo shoot.
 
Casting will be from 4:00pm- 6:00pm in Sandy, Utah
 
The photographer shooting the project is out of NYC.
 
Please take a look at the specs below for the types of models they are needing. They will need skiers and snowmobilers in addition to swimwear models, kids and adults to make up families.
 
AT THIS TIME CASTING IS ONLY LOOKING FOR MODELS WITH A HIGHER LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE. THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BOOKED PRIOR MODELING JOBS.

High School Seniors Portfolio Photo Shoot, Utah

Local Utah Photographer is looking for 3 High School students to photograph for their business portfolio.

(2 Females and 1 Male)

The ideal students would be involved in sports, theatre, rodeos or play a musical instrument.

Each student will photographed in 3-4 outfits that they agree on. Studio and Location images will be taken.

Outfit examples

  1. Sports - Soccer outfit with ball
  2. Band uniform – with instrument
  3. Letterman jacket against a brick wall
  4. Casual Outfit
  5. Dress/Suit
  6. Cap and Gown (studio provided)

Each student will get 3-8x10 retouched prints and 5 retouched Images on a CD from the photographer at no cost.
