Setting: Simple reciting lines on a small set with a grey background and lighting. This video will be a humorous ad for a small film business. All personality types are welcome.

Casting Call- Spokane, Washington

Casting Call
 
Short film shooting the weekend of the 19th. Production needs a wide range of people to appear. No lines to memorize, no experience required.
 
The theme of the video is, "balance between good and evil." Will be shot in a series of vignettes around the Spokane area.

This is a fun experimental project. Compensation will be one DVD copy per volunteer. Shooting will be about an hour of your time, and you must have transportation to their filming location in the downtown area.

Looking for several people, all ages, races, sizes. Groups of Friends and Couples are encouraged to apply as well.

Cloaked Intentions is a day time spy soap opera and will be featured as a show within a show that the characters on the web series Out of Luck watch. So, to re-word it, the spy soap opera is a show that the characters of Out of Luck will watch on their t.v.

The two leads they are looking for are John Steel and Coral Velour.

John Steel is your traditional James Bond character, but with more sensitivity and feelings. (e.g. Jason Bateman, Michael J. Fox, or Jake Gyllenhal)

They are currently looking to cast a Man and Woman who could play from late teens (about 17) through about age 25. They need to be solid actors.

Looking for hair models for a Professional hair color, cut and styling techniques demonstration hair show to be held at the Linen Building, Sunday, November 14th, 2010.

Color, cuts, updos and styling techniques will be demonstrated for professional Hair Stylists. There will be two model calls held simultaneously, color with cuts for the morning demonstrations, and cuts, updos and styling techniques for the afternoon session.

The Model Call will be held Friday, November 12th at Orange Salon & Spa located at 3815 W. Overland Road, Boise.

Requirements are that you are willing to get your hair cut, colored, or both.
Must be available Saturday, November 13th for model prep between noon and 5PM. Model prep will be held at Orange Salon & Spa.
Must be available Sunday, November 14th for the day of the show.

You will receive a hair color and a hair cut and professional hair care products; you will not be compensated monetarily.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THIS BLOG 2-3 TIMES DAILY OR YOU MAY MISS OUT ON PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES. TIME IS OFTEN CRUCIAL. WE OFTEN SEE TALENT SUBMIT WELL AFTER THE DEADLINE AND THE CLIENTS HAVE PICKED OTHER CANDIDATES AND YOU MAY HAVE BEEN A BETTER CHOICE BUT WERE TOO LATE.
 
THE REASON WE POST MANY OF THE AUDITIONS ON THIS SITE IS BECAUSE THE CLIENTS DO NOT WANT US TO SUBMIT YOU UNLESS YOU ARE 100% INTERESTED, AVAILABLE AND HAVE READ AS MANY DETAILS ABOUT THE JOB AS POSSIBLE.
 
When we submit talent and then the client chooses the talent they want to book and then you decide you do not want the job we often lose the client. This makes us both look bad!
 
The reason we have increased bookings substantially over the last year is we do not spend a ton of time calling and emailing you unless you are booked! We spend the time finding the opportunities, promoting you, negotiating your deal, booking you on the specific job, then billing the client and making sure they are happy and use us again.
 
Sometimes we submit your head shots and resumes if you fit a client’s needs to try to induce the clients in showing interest in you. This is usually done if we have worked a lot with the client, or are trying to get a new client. We also use this tactic when a job has more flexibility on dates, rates, locations etc. This is called a direct booking and we often do not even post these. Many times we have submitted you and will only contract you if they are showing interest.
 
If you submit for a project and are not picked please do not get discouraged! Your time will come when you are right for the job so be persistent.  Most people fail in this business because they are either not properly skilled or they want things to happen to quickly and get discouraged and quit before there big opportunity comes.
 
We know that sometimes it is hard when you are not contacted when not picked for a particular project but we must use our time wisely. Often the client does not give us a time line or notice when they will be choosing the talent. We want you to succeed and are doing everything we can to assist.
