The Mormon Channel is producing a series of old-time radio dramas which tell the stories of the life of the Savior. 

Currently casting for several voice over roles.

Who:

Male voice over talent with rich, solid, resonant voices. Those who participate must be temple worthy members of the LDS Church and legal to work in the United States.

What:

Radio dramas which enact typical stories of Jesus Christ as told in the New Testament.

When:

Actors must be available October 26-29, 2010 for recording.

Where:

Will record at the LDS Motion Picture Studio in Provo.

NYC creative team hosts model call in Ontario, Oregon for three day photoshoot - shoot dates are 10/29-31

Model call is Sunday, October 3, 2010  in Downtown Ontario, Oregon. (1 hour from Boise)

5-8 Female models will be cast for three sep. photoshoots. All models should come to the open call between the hours of 10am-1pm. 

PLEASE NOTE:  This is a photoshoot for shoe brands. One of the brands they will shoot is exclusively in size 6 footwear---while the other two brands will be shot in size 9. Your feet must accommodate these shoe sizes within a half size +/-

The work assignment includes modeling for three major shoe brands in the United States: Jeffrey Campbell, Matiko Footwear and the multi-brand shoe website Solestruck.com. All images will be used for respective brands’ lookbooks, editorial blogs and brand identity purposes globally. All work is printed matter. All models will sign a waiver releasing the use of the images to the respective companies. All models will be styled using Paul Mitchell hair products--by members of Salon Salon in Ontario Oregon, a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon.

All models will receive payment and product trade depending on which casting you receive (money plus shoes).
 
Payment based on sliding scale of experience, all models paid. All models will receive both hi-res images and copies (printed and digital) of the final product of each lookbook/campaign. All models will receive name credit on printed matter. You can check out the collections on the respective brand websites. They can answer any further questions at the open call. You will meet the creative producer, and hair and make-up at the call.
 
Selected models will be notified immediately following the casting to block off dates for chosen projects.

GRACE (early‐20s) A student who lives in the Museum of Art on her college campus. She sees things other people don’t see, and wants to share this world with others. She builds a project hoping to connect with her classmates, but they don’t understand what she is trying to do. Grace has to decide between giving up her individuality and be like everyone else, or try again. She tries again, and ends up saving her classmates and connects with them on a deeper level that she thought.

PROFESSOR BUMBLESWORTH (late 40s‐early 50s) Grace’s university professor. Like the rest of the class, he doesn’t quite understand what Grace’s project is all about. He cares about his students, but has a hard time relating to them personally.

BARRY (mid‐20s) A Museum of Art security guard. A brother type character to Grace, Doesn’t see the art in the museum as anything but paint and canvas.

We are excited to announce our newest feature film project to be shot in Las Vegas 'We Ain't Dead Yet'. A hilarious comedy about two widows who are fed-up with their mundane and boring life so they decide to take a walk on the wild side. The ensuing antics will keep audiences laughing and wondering what the future holds for them. IndieSOS is paying for hotel accommodations on the strip, meals, and local transportation for those who are cast from the Los Angeles membership (limited to three actors).

ALREADY CAST:
HANNAH - Helen Lipton (Lead) Already Cast Jewish widow holding on to the last vestige of her dignity. Little money, huge heart, few friends, no family other than the park people. She must be warm, unique and have a great sense of humor.

BUBBE - Marilyn Weinmann (Lead) Already Cast Jewish widow who refuses to accept her aging challenges. Strong personality, Extremely funny.

THE PARK PEOPLE
The park is full of street vendors and street performers that have become Sadie and Hannah's only family. They are a collection of odd, funny, eccentric people that we really enjoy seeing. Below are the breakdowns for these cast members.

BIANCA - Elena Dugo (Shaved Ice vendor) Already Cast A true Italian with a temper that is unmatched. Speaks broken English which causes all kinds of hilarious misunderstandings. Forget to pay her and you will find yourself in a foot race with an angry woman wielding whatever she could get her hands on. But like all of the park people we learn to love her.

SPIDER - Yisrael Sofer (Skateboard Kid) Already cast Young boy who dresses 'Goth' is always on a skateboard but spends more time on the ground than on the board. At first glance he is a trouble maker but when we get to know him he has a heart of gold, a shy personality and truly cares about people.

FINGERS - Nancy Yalley (Pick-Pocket) Already cast A photographer that takes pictures for people in the park. She is really a pick-pocket and often in trouble.

PROFESSOR - Jeff Vernon (Character artist) Already cast He draws what he really sees. That makes some extremely happy, others angry, mystified, concerned, but never uninvolved. An eccentric artist with a flare for seeing people as they really are and putting that on paper no matter what the consequence.

NOT YET CAST:

There are no requirements for Ethnicity and actors need only be at least 18 years old.

[ DOC ]
Not Cast (Blues singer - Music is primary score) They call him Doc because his music is good for what ail's you. A musical storyteller that that really hits home. Music will be the primary score of the movie. Playing guitar or harmonica is an asset.

[ DIGS ]
Not cast (Thug) Probably the most inept thug you have ever met. He tries to look the part and acts the part but he is just not the bad guy he tries to be.

[ UBAR ]
Not Cast (Yoga Instructor) Not like any yoga instructor you have ever heard of. An extremely strange and over-the-top individual that no one would ever believe could teach yoga. Unusual character wanted. Could be very large, very small, very tall, very thin, etc. A great character role.

[ NOISY ]
Not yet Cast (Mime) The mime that won't shut up. He styles himself as a new generation mime with the civil right to talk, tell jokes, and make as much noise as he wants. If you think other mimes are annoying wait till you meet 'Noisy'.

[ PINKY ]
Not yet Cast (Cotton Candy Vendor) Flaming gay cotton candy vendor. Very emotional, cries at the drop of a hat but we must love him.

[ KENNY ]
Not yet Cast (Painted statue) Painted as street statues they come alive and sing for park patrons Must have good singing voice. Boyfriend of Kandy and tends to want to sing too much to the women so Kandy feels obligated to take her turn. Dance skills helpful. Speaking role as well

[ KANDY ]
Not yet Cast (Painted statue) Painted as street statues they come alive and sing for park patrons Must have good singing voice. Her boyfriend who is also a statue tends to sing and romance the women so she fires back. Dance skills helpful. Speaking role as well

Independent Feature Film Casting, Male and Female, ages late 20's- 30's, Utah

Director Murray Triplett and Producer James Henderson announce casting for a new feature film, with working title "EVP". 
 
Principal photography to take place in Seattle area October 22-28. Pay is negotiable.

The film follows two ghost hunters hired to record the haunted site of a murder-suicide. The film will contain no nudity and no gore, but we still expect a PG-13 rating because of scary themes and images.

Characters:

JESS - Female late 20's to mid 30's.  A smart, vivacious girl who has left behind a strict religious background.  The supernatural world frightens her to death, but she pushes her fears aside because she aspires to be a documentary filmmaker, and she secretly likes the character Roland.

CYRUS - Male 30's.  Haunted by images of his parents' gruesome deaths, Cyrus doesn't know if the images he sees and the sounds he hears are memories or visions.  He hires Roland and Jess to help him find answers to why his parents died.

All roles will require extensive dialogue improvisation.

National Open Casting Call, Feature Film, "We Bought A Zoo"

"We Bought A Zoo" is based on the Benjamin Mee memoir of the same name. It tells the story of how Mee and his family used their life savings to buy a dilapidated zoo and restore it to its former glory.
 
To be Directed by Cameron Crowe (Oscar winning Director of Jerry Maguire & Almost Famous)
 
Casting for the Roles of:
 
DYLAN MEE- Benjamin's 14-year-old son (submit 13-18 to play 14). Dylan took his mother's death very hard and retreated into his world of drawing but took it to an oddly dark place. He is a creative & talented young artist but outside observers worry about what he is actually drawing... and what it's missing. Constantly in trouble at school, he gets suspended and expelled often - not a bad kid, just a misunderstood misfit. Dylan isn't much of a big brother or a son until the journey of the zoo sheds new light on his dark world. He has deep feelings behind his eyes with an edgy style, not unlike what a young Tim Burton must have been like.
 
ROSIE MEE- Benjamin's 6-year-old and extremely lively daughter (submit 6-8 to play 6). Rosie is a loving and disarmingly adorable child, even with the death of her mother, which she seems to handle better than her father and brother. She's an old soul and is able to share her love for just about everything, especially the animals at the zoo. One might forget that she is only 6 years old, as Rosie seems to be the glue keeping her family together, but she needs her family as much as any other child.
 
LILY- 15-years-old and a rural beauty (submit 14-19 to play 15). She works at the zoo's restaurant but she's too young to work legally so she's paid under the table and she, too, lives on the property. Her only parental figure seems to be Kelly from whom she learns to be at great ease with the animals. When Dylan arrives at the zoo, she finds him immediately fascinating. Her little world is rocked by his city boy looks and she doesn't hold back in her quirky flirtatiousness and daily sandwich deliveries.
