River City Ent. We are an entertainment company run by actors, based in Boise, Idaho, USA. Our priority is producing the best shows possible. But we only succeed when our actors are happy. - People who work easily with others in fluid, constantly changing ensemble casts.
- Improv actors who can build distinctive characters based on a limited script outline, then engage easily one-on-one in character with individual audience members.
- Improv comedians who can turn a one-word audience suggestion into thirty seconds of hilarity.
- Singers who can "sell" a song.
- Entertainers like musicians, magicians, puppeteers, or comedians comfortable performing in intimate venues with the audience at close quarters.

Over the years many of Craze Agency actors have developed good connections and experiences from doing these projects!
The Salt Lake Community College Film Program is holding Open Auditions for student films.
To help SLCC film students learn about casting and find talented actors
to appear in their films, the SLCC Film Department is holding a general
casting call. This casting session will allow actors the opportunity to
audition for dozens of roles in films being produced by SLCC film
students. Local actors will have the opportunity to continue honing
their craft and to find interesting projects being created by up and coming filmmakers.
When
Auditions will be held on Monday, January 26th and Wednesday, January 28th, 10am-6pm.
Where
The auditions will be held at SLCC South City Campus located at 1575 S.
State St. in the sound stage. (there will be signs). Casting assistants
will be at the sign up tables with parking permits.
What
Please
have a prepared monologue or performance piece that you feel best shows
your strengths and range. Please limit the piece to 1 minute so the
casting directors will have time to talk with you. There will be sides
for cold readings also. Bring Craze approved head-shot and resume if you have them.
This is open to men and women of all ages. If under 18 have a parent
accompany you.

Announces Auditions for Meredith Willson's
The Music Man

Auditions for Pioneer Theatre Company's 2014-2015 season finale musical, The Music Man, will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015. Callback day and time will be announced to auditioners after the first audition.
Audition slots from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16 are for Actors' Equity members only. Audition slots from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. are open to all auditioners (auditioners must be 18 years old or older). Singing audition slots are limited to three minutes.
Dancers are invited to audition at 5:00 p.m. Please arrive promptly. This call will last approximately one hour.
Auditions will be held in Room 245 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Singers should prepare a song from a classic American musical. An accompanist will be provided, but auditioners should bring their own sheet music and/or scores (neither will be provided by the theatre). A photo and résumé are recommended.
Dancers should be prepared to dance; ladies please bring character shoes and flats.
All auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, during business hours of 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. The sign-up sheet will be posted on Friday, January 9, 2015.
Rehearsal dates for the production are Monday, April 6 - Thursday, April 30, 2015; performance dates are May 1 - May 16, 2015. PTC Artistic Director Karen Azenberg will direct and choreograph the production.
All roles are currently available; all auditioners must be 18 or older.
Character Breakdown:
Prof. Harold Hill: Age 35-50 A con man and traveling salesman, must be played by a leading man with a lot of charm and energy.
Marian Paroo: A sometimes stuffy librarian and piano teacher, Marian sees through Harold's charade and sets out to expose him as a fraud, but inevitably falls for him. Leading lady, age 35-40 excellent voice, strong actress, moves well. G - High G
Mrs. Paroo: Marian and Winthrop's charming Irish mother. Age 50-60 good actress, singer, capable of Irish brogue A flat - High E flat

Mayor George Shinn: A blustery politician and mayor of River City. Age 60-70 strong actor, good comic timing.
Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn: Mayor Shinn's peacock wife, she is easily won over by Prof. Hill when he appoints her the head of the "Ladies' Auxiliary Society for the Classic Dance." Age 50-65, good actress, comic timing, good singer, moves well D - High D
Tommy Djilas: The town troublemaker, Tommy is secretly dating the mayor's oldest daughter, Zaneeta. Must be an extremely strong dancer and be able to play a teeneager.
