Auditions for improvisation movie

Fade-IN pictures LLC, is looking for actors for a suspense/adventure film to be made in Utah.
 
The film is primarily improvisation, following a basic storyline.
 
The actors will be required to spend the night in the desert in a tent as part of the storyline. Filming will be September 25 starting at 6:00am and will go throughout the day until about 2:00am the next day. Food will be provided for the day along with tents and basic sleeping gear.
 
Auditions will be held Thursday, September 2 from 6:00pm-930pm.
 
At this point the are especially looking for Female improv actors, but are still accepting Men as well. All actors should be somewhere around the 17-28 age range.

Photography studio is holding a Model Casting Call for Male and Female Models for a Wellness Company. This is for a Lifestyle/Real people Print Campaign.
 
Casting date is Monday, August 30 from 11:00am- 5:30pm. Casting location is in downtown Salt Lake City.

CASTING CALL for Short Horror Film "Souvenir" Utah

Actor Will Prestin and student filmmaker Brendan Morrisey will be shooting an old fashioned Horror thriller this October. Non-paying gig, food and copy of film will be provided. The film is about a novelist who blurs the line between fiction and reality.

Auditions will be held the weekend of September 17th to the 19th at the University of Utah downtown commons in SLC: 43 S. 400 E.

Yes, there is a short intimate scene between Frank and Marie but there is no nudity in the film. Only lots of fake blood for the murder scene that shortly follows. Right now they are looking at the week of Columbus day for when they will shoot the entire film so please be available sometime within that week.

"AFTER"- A New Web Series Auditions, Spokane, Washington

August 27, 2010
A Production company out of Spokane, Washington is excited to announce their casting call for AFTER, a web series by Thomas J. Brown and Phoenix Gabriel.
 
This audition is for their pilot episode, which will be a spec webisode.  Just as a heads up, the rate they will pay is a flat $100 for the pilot's production. Their goal is to acquire financing for the rest of the first season, after which they will be able to pay the going rate for web production talent.
 
At the very bottom of this breakdown, there is also an opportunity to attend a special fundraiser for the production. Read below!

"Five strangers work together to survive after a zombie apocalypse, but there are worse things than zombies out there..."
OPEN auditions for their upcoming web series pilot, "AFTER." The web series takes place six months after an apocalyptic event has rendered the majority of society mangled and disfigured. A lucky few have escaped the debilitating effects, but find themselves struggling to survive day-to-day, rummaging for food and seeking solace in each other in dreary, desperate times.
 
This independent production promises to be an exciting opportunity with well-crafted, multifaceted characters to study and appreciate. This project is designed to be distributed through the web in episodic form, but production will remain on the look-out for new and emerging distribution outlets.

Jackson Staedert Male, Early 40s. Physical Description: Very muscular. Tall. Jackson is a military guy. Race is unimportant. His hair is either very short or shaved completely. Character Description: Strong opinions, strong willed. He isn't power-hungry and doesn't mind being the leader, but isn't good at seeing the big picture. Very religious.

Erica Daniels Female, Late 30s. Physical Description: Thin. Not terribly muscular. Trailer trash meets the big city. Caucasian. Character Description: The group's medical person despite her low level of training. She enjoys that dating the leader gives her the ability to slack off a bit. Despite the collapse of civilization, she still cares about the status quo. She tends to play mom and sometimes gets a bit bossy. Religious.

Dave Westfield Male, Late 20s/Early 30s. Physical Description: Average working joe. In good physical shape, but not as muscular as Jackson Staedert. Caucasian. Character Description: A bit rebellious. Generally strong willed. Misses having sex. Cares about himself more than anyone else and wouldn't hesitate to leave someone behind if it meant he would survive. Moderately religious. Special Skills: The ability to drive a semi-truck is beneficial, but is not required.

Meredith Louvier Female, Mid 20s. Physical Description: Petite, short, and very pretty. Dark hair. European-looking face. Caucasian. Character Description: She is a natural marksman and a bit of a gun nut. She is strong willed and independent, but takes orders well. She keeps to herself most of the time. She is fluent in French, but speaks English with an American accent. She can cook quite well, especially bread and pastries. Not religious at all. Special Skills: The ability to speak French (especially with a Parisian accent) is a huge plus, but is not required.

Roy Chang Male, Early 30s Physical Description: A bit pudgy. Wears glasses. Dark hair. Asian preferred, but we’d like to see anyone who fits the description of the character. Character Description: Takes orders well. He tries to please everyone. He always wants to do "the right thing." He's excellent with numbers and is a "big picture" kind of guy. He can be a bit of a downer because he reminds people about the reality of their situation. He tries too hard to be peoples' friend. Not religious at all.

ABC Family Auditions begin for Season 2 of "Pretty Little Liars."


 
The hit ABC Family Teen drama Mystery show, "Pretty Little Liars" is heading back into production on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 after a very short hiatus this summer.
 
Pretty Little Liars is based off the books by Author Sara Shepard, and was inspired by her own upbringing in Philadelphia's Main Line, where she still lives today with her husband and three unruly dogs. The series premiered June 8, 2010 on ABC Family- the same day as the eighth and final installment of Shepard's Pretty Little Liars novels, "Wanted," was released.
 
Pretty Little Liars quickly has become ABC Family's highest-rated series, and The New York Daily News gave the show its highest score, with 80/100, commenting that "A new ABC Family series built around four teenage friends and an ominous hint of supernatural forces that mean no good, makes most popular vampire romances look anemic."
 
This one-hour series is under AFTRA contract.

You must go into our website and fill out as much of the information that it asks for. Here are a few examples of the thousands of ways this will help all of us to increase your bookings and auditions.

 

If a client is looking for an Male Asian experienced actor age 40-55 5'10"- 6'0" or if the client is looking for a Female Model 5'8" to 5'9" age 16-19 size 4-5 with Blonde hair and Blue eyes with runway experience it will pull up a detailed list of all the people in the agency that exactly meet this criteria. This will also pull up an individual list of Extras or Models, Actors, Females, Children, Caucasians, etc. The clients can also see your resume in our database.

We asked our clients what we could do to help them book you more and this is what they want.  If you do not input the information requested you will never show up on the searches and this will dramatically hurt or eliminate your chances. We are the local leader in this detailed technology.

 

This database does not cost you anything!

 

Please remember to read the entire email so that you will not be confused about the difference between the database and website!

 

Go to http://www.crazeagency.com  and on the top left side of the page you will insert your user name. Your user name will be your first name with the first letter capitalized and then your last name no spaces in between your names with the first letter in your last name capitalized.

Some examples would be Steve Smith user name is SteveSmith, or Janet Thompson user name JanetThompson .

Now put in your password, it will be the first three letters in your first name with the first letter capitalized and then with no space put in your full last name. An example would be Steve Smith would have a password of SteSmith or Janet Thompson would be JanThompson .  

 

Now click login.

 

This will pull up a new page welcoming you and at the top left corner you will see edit profile, click that and it will pull up your page. Now you can enter your important data. Please accurately update this information anytime it changes. Fill in as much data as possible. You will see there are columns for things like your address and phone and email etc.

 

This is how we will contact you; it must be up to date. If it ever changes you need to update it immediately also email us and let us know. The vital information is only for Craze Agency and will never be given out to clients except your phone number if they need to directly call you and they have our permission

 

If you are new with Craze or it does not work give it about 7-14 days if it does not work then, email us at crazeagency@sisna.com and we will put you in manually. Be patient we have been putting in over 100,000 statistics on all of you the last 7 months! If you have a really long name it may need us to adjust it for you the first time!

To submit, visit www.cirquedusoleil.com/jobs. Click on "apply online" to fill out your profile, upload your resume and cover letter and submit your profile. Include one head shot and, if possible, one full-body or 3/4 photo and a demo reel including any short performances or studio clips demonstrating your acting range). You must submit a complete application in order to be considered. Applicants registering online for the first time will receive a confirmation email containing their username, a temporary password and a link to the Cirque du Soleil site in order to submit their video demos and photos. Applicants who have already received a confirmation email will find the link for uploading their video demos and photos once they have filled out and submitted their profile. Links to YouTube or Dailymotion may also be shared where indicated.
 
All complete applications will be evaluated by a talent scout from the casting team. Cirque du Soleil will not pay for any expenses incurred by candidates who attend the audition. Pay provided.

This is a single day shoot, non-paid for a demo reel preliminary to shooting a feature film from a New York Times bestselling book. 
 
The actors will receive a copy of the shoot for their use. And this will place them firmly in casting considerations for the feature, should it be made. And you could always use more experience in front of the camera!

Character Descriptions:

Male Caucasian, mid 30s, neat in appearance, responsible older brother.
Male Caucasian, early thirties, tan outdoorsy type, writer, bad temper
Female Caucasian, early thirties, pretty with little makeup, strong woman, local cop, devoted to family, peacemaker
 
Female, middle-aged woman,  a “different fish in a sea of sameness”, wealthy but completely unpretentious
 
Female, around 30, small town girl who is happy that way, thoughtful.
 
Female, 30-40, a talker, hair-dresser.

Extras needed for Utah Food Bank PSA

August 25, 2010
Local studio is in need of as many extras as they can get for a 15 sec PSA they are shooting this Friday for a Utah Food Bank PSA.

Location: Centerville Wal-Mart
Date: August 27
Time: 5 pm - 8 pm
Who: All people of all types (seriously, no specifics. They just need people. All ages and all backgrounds.)

The concept: They need to produce a shot where there is a long line of people waiting to get out of the department store so they can put their groceries in to the donation truck. They need to fill the line with enough people to illustrate the call to action for people to get in line for a good thing.

This spot is primarily one shot, which means once they have the shot, you are done and you will be free to go.

Casting Male and Female Actors for a commercial spec.
 
The Commercial spec is for Nike, "Meteor."
 
Synopsis:
A group of boys and girls in their early teens lie and play in the open fields. What looks like a meteor falls through the sky landing on the far side of the field. The group walks towards the other side where the object has crashed. They group sees the hole created by the meteor. One of them reaches in and pulls out a Nike shoe.

3 Boys and 2 Girls, 13-15 years old; open to all races (mixed is even better). Looking for attractive/interesting kids that look like they think for themselves- Independent.
