Hiring for a music video which is being filmed in Utah next month and they are in need of a young man for the shoot.

"Looking for an 18-28 year old male, Athletic build, 5'8-6'4. The music video will be shot between August 1-24, 2010. Male will only be needed for one day.
 
As of right now, a lot of it will be volunteer. They are in the middle of looking for sponsorship. Depending on what they get for sponsorship, part of that may be put towards the male actor who is used in the video. It depends on the final budget.

Audition for new short film by Daniel Bean Films (Provo)
 
This is an open casting call for an audition for a new short narrative film by Daniel Bean Films (Death Pad, Citius.)
 
Right now they have an opening for a Male role, about 20-35. The character is an eccentric, unorthodox, reclusive, intellectual type. They are concerned more with look and mannerisms, as well as feeling comfortable in front of the camera, not line delivery.

They are offering credit and copy of the final product. This film will be submitted to film festivals and broadcast online.

LDS CASTING: Teenage Boy and Woman in 40's, Utah

The Audiovisual Department is producing a Mormon Message based on Elder Hales Talk from the April 2010 General Conference entitled Our Duty to God: The Mission of Parents and Leaders to the Rising Generation. 

Will be filming a re-enactment of the story where Elder Hales's mother asks him to come in to dinner when he wants to stay out to play baseball.

Who: Teenage boy, 13-17; Caucasian, brown hair, at least 5'8", fit to athletic.

Woman, 40's; to play Elder Hales mother

When: The shoot will take place Thursday, July 22nd. Those cast will be needed for approximately 6 hours.

Auditions: Missionary Bicycle Safety Video, Males 25-40, Utah

LDS Casting is producing a Missionary Bicycle Safety Training Video for all missionaries who use bicycles on their missions.

All positions are paid. They are still working out the budget, so they don’t have exact amounts yet.

Who: Still looking for actors for the roles of Bicycle Thief 1 and 2 in the upcoming Missionary Bicycle Safety Video.  Because they will be hiring the actors through an outsourced production company, they are able to open the auditions for these two roles to talent who are not members of the LDS Church. 

Looking for:

Men; Caucasian; ages 25-40 (Bicycle Thieves--"a little rough around the edges," with good comic timing)- they will be casting 2 actors in this category.

 The Midvale Main Street Theater, (formerly the Comedy Circuit), will hold open auditions for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Dale Wasserman, from the novel by Ken Kesley, and directed by Mike Hardy.

Auditions are Aug. 18th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the theater, 7711 South Main Street, Midvale, UT.

Call Backs will be held August 20, at 6:00 p.m.

All actors will cold read from the script. In addition, please have a brief contemporary monologue prepared. Rehearsals will be three to four evenings a week and Saturday afternoons. Show runs Nov. 11th - Nov. 24th, 2010. There is no pay.

CHIEF BROMDEN: Huge, bull muscled Indian who stands six and a half feet tall, but carries himself like a small man that the system has struck down. mute to his fellow inmates and ward staff. Monologues exhibit a wise and sensitive, spiritual man. the heart of the show.

NURSE RATCHED: a handsome woman, her age is hard to tell. a stern, all business, perfectionist who smiles for the patients in a professional therapeutic manner. she expects her world to be just so and will do all it takes to keep it standardized. Nemesis to Mc Murphy. LEAD ROLE. 30'S UP

DALE HARDING: the head man until R.P. enters the scene. intelligent, well spoken, somewhat flamboyant. One wonders why he is in the mental institution, until the nurse unravels his insecurities in group meetings. Wears his robe like a uniform. Rival and friend to Mc Murphy. LEAD ROLE. 30'S UP

BILLY BIBBITT: a child man. a frightened rabbit in a den of wolves. a soul tortured by a domineering mother and low self esteem, affected with a terrible stammer and the desire to be one of the boys. An immediate worshiper of RP. LEAD ROLE. 20'S -UP.

SCANLON: balding, determined, and mostly quiet in his routine of assembling his imaginary bomb and feeding his paranoia delusions. SUPPORT ROLE. 50's

CHARLES CHESWICK: short, chubby, crew -cut hair style. His manner alternately truculent and cringing. Sarcasm and criticism are a normal diet in his speech. 30's / UP

MARTINI : impish, agreeable, easy to laugh, and completely delusional. He is prone to buddying with imaginary friends. He has a lot of heart and wants badly to please and to end his nightmare. 30's /UP.

DR SPIVEY: the administrative piece in the puzzle. A tired, unimaginative, worker bee for the state hospital. A man dying to experience life in a grander scale but confined to a desk and rules, who sees RP as a bold experiment, a breath of fresh air. 40's/ UP

RUCKLY: a seriously damaged man. Chronic mental patient. he requires constant care full time and does not speak except for a bark of obscenity he uses to comment with. He is forever in a Christ-like pose against a wall and through misty eyes he surveys his fellow sheep. AGE OPEN

NURSE FLYNN: a mousey, high strung, proper and professional novice in over her head. Attractive and yet non sexual ,non threatening lackey for the big nurse. 20's UP

CANDY: RP's good time girl from the outside. a hot, sexy, free spirit of the era. A kind and extroverted young woman looking for the next big adventure. Her best friend, Sandy, bar hops with her and she is loyal to R.P. She changes Billy's life. 20's/UP

SANDY: Candy's partner in crime. A party girl to end all party girls. That one that everyone talks about the next day. Bottle in hand at every occasion and first to dance. Unlucky in love. 20's /UP

AIDE WARREN: a strong, bullying, in charge worker bee to the big nurse. He loves a good b.s. session with co- worker Williams, and harassing deaf and dumb Bromden. 20's/UP

AIDE WILLIAMS: not as sadistic perhaps as his fellow aide, but eager to push people around under the radar of the rules. 20's/UP

TURKLE: part night watchman, part janitor, all boob. A good ol'boy just trying to skate by with as little effort as possible. Smells a kindred soul in R.P. 30's/UP

Casting "Triple Threat" Performers, 18-30, Utah

CASTING CALL FOR “TRIPLE THREAT” PERFORMERS
PAID OPPORTUNITY!

Searching for outstanding adult singer-performers to star in an upbeat Utah school assembly weekly from September 2010 through May 2011. The 35-minute program requires performers to be confident singers, capable dancers, enthusiastic actors and engaging personalities for elementary-age audiences.

• Casting will include four performers (two men and two women) and two swings (one man and one woman) ages 18-30.

• Performances will be held twice a week during school hours from September through early December 2010 and January through May 2011. Exact days will be determined based on the chosen cast’s availability.

• Geographic locations of schools will range from Weber to Utah Counties and Tooele to Heber Counties, and average time commitment per show will be two to three hours including travel.

• Pay per show is $50 + $15 for travel, with a $500 bonus at the end of the performance season (April 2010).

• During the month of August, 10 paid rehearsals will be held, at $40/rehearsal. One paid rehearsal will be held per month throughout the performance season.

• Contract requires a minimum of 45 of a likely 56 performances.

Auditions will be held August 11, 2010. Bring a one-minute comedic monologue or reading, a 32-measure contemporary vocal solo (pianist provided) and be prepared to learn and perform a short piece of choreography. Must be willing to submit to a background check before a final offer is made.
 
Headshots requested.

Employing original music, creative skits and crowd participation activities, the high-energy assembly teaches safe walking and biking practices to students. The songs are contemporary tunes in genres ranging from alternative to hip hop. Last year, the show was performed for more than 40,000 students across the Wasatch Front.

Casting for two principle parts for Men.  
 
This project is for a local technology company to show during product demos and on their products web page as a comical break in a long technical presentation.
They will be shooting 2 days the week of the July 26th.  An exact date has not bee nailed down yet.
 
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, July 20 in Orem, Utah from 12:00pm- 2:00pm
 
Parts needed:
VP of company: White Male 30-40's in age.  Lovable personality but really without a clue. (a bit of a Michael from the office).  

IT Admin:  30ish, Male, any ethnicity. Professional who has a good head on his shoulders but is stuck under management who is rather incompetent.  

VP part will be for a full 12 hour day at $600
IT Admin part will be for 1/2 day 4-6 hours at $300
