Female Promo Model/Demonstrator ages 21-35 for Cosmetic Event, Utah

We have a Cosmetic Event coming up this month that is need of a Promotional Model for an in-store demonstration.

The event dates are 06/19/2010 from 12:00PM to 4:00PM and 06/26/2010 from 12:00PM to 4:00PM. Both events are on Saturday's.

Both locations are in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah

The same girls is preferred for both dates.

Pay is $16/hr!!

We will need one demonstrator per store. The demonstrator should be between the ages of 21-35 -NO ONE UNDER 21, attractive, have demonstration experience, and be very enthusiastic.

The demonstrator will be responsible for sampling Colgate Total Clean Mint Toothpaste. Client will provide you with all of the necessary materials. Additional info. will be provided in an event kit and they will go over everything in a phone training session closer to the event.

Dress code will be black slacks or knee-length skirt with a black button down collared shirt and dress shoes – no open toe. Tucked in shirt and a black belt.

Times are open but they expect that the auditions sessions will be heavy early and late in the day so plan accordingly.

NOTES: Weekly webisodes (1-4 minutes in length) will be posted each week for one year. There will be 2 production days each month with some exceptions. Talent should be willing to commit to one-year and to become a YouTube personality. (Watch the videos at www.orabrush.com to see Orabrush’s commercials, though this web series is made up of narrative webisodes rather than commercials.)

SYNOPSIS: The web series follows the life of Morgan, a human-sized, talking Tongue, and his friends which include regular people, and other human-sized objects like multiple Teeth, a Toothbrush and an Orabrush. Like in Jim Henson’s Muppet world, regular people interact with these objects and body parts as if a talking, human-sized Tongue is normal.

TONGUE “MORGAN” Male, 18-30. Morgan is a bit of a schlub, a Charlie Brown type everyman who never really gets things going his way. He is optimistic, even naive, not very bright and can be quite awkward. He is the guy who is constantly trying to fit in and be liked but tries too hard and so never really fits in. Despite not really fitting in he sees himself as being cool and believes others see him this way too. He doesn't let his being a giant tongue stop him from trying anything. He is a likeable character and is supposed to be funny and any actor portraying him should have a sense of humor and timing.

We have a client that is currently looking for 2 Female and 1 Male to host 2 TV shows they are recording in July, August and September.
 
These are TV Shows for the local BYU Broadcasting.

Auditioning this week on Friday, June 18 from 3:00pm- 5:00pm on the BYU Campus, and possibly next week.
 
Here is what they are looking for:

    Females they are looking for Spanish native speakers, slim built, very comfortable reading a tele-prompter, height 5.3 to 6.0,  age 20 to 32.

    For the Male they are also looking for a Spanish native speaker, athletic built, and also comfortable reading a tele-prompter, age 20 to 32, height 5.3 to 6.1.
 
Pay is $650 for the show, "Emprendedores" which will be a 3 day shoot.

We have a client that is need of Male and Female Talent ages 28+ to give Testimonials for an Infomercial for a Credit Company.
 
Here is how it will work:
 
At the bottom of this posting are the Characters and their Testimonials. You will need to go through each of them, pick, and memorize 2 parts (THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE WORD PERFECT AS LONG AS YOU HIT THE IMPORTANT PARTS)
 
On Tuesday, June 15 or Wednesday, June 16 between 12:00pm- 5:00pm each day, you will go into a local studio in Midvale, Utah and record the testimonial on-camera.
 
IMPORTANT- If your Testimonial is selected by the client, they will contact Craze and you will receive a $75 compensation and your Testimonial will show up on the Infomercial.
 
If you are not selected, obviously you won't be paid but you will get some valuable experience out of it.

Staged Production Audition, Utah

Resistance Movement is a play based on the resistance activities of the Helmuth Hubener Group. It tells the true story of three teenagers in Nazi Germany, who feel they must make a stand for truth, regardless of the consequences. They start a resistance group to spread anti-Nazi leaflets through out Hamburg. 15-year-old Rudi is confident they can make a difference, but when the Gestapo arrests them, his faith is severely tested.

 

We often disagree with things going on in the world around us, and wish things were different, but because we feel our efforts will not make a difference, we all too frequently don’t even try. This story from the past is essential for our day, because it reminds us that one person can make a difference, and that standing up for truth and freedom is not only possible, it is essential.

 

Production dates: July 30th in West Jordan & July 31st in Provo.

Rehearsals: TBD, roughly the last two weeks in July.

Compensation: In order to produce this play as a service to the community so that all may attend free of charge, all roles are are volunteer positions. This is a great opportunity to originate a role and be a part of developing a brand new script!
