We have a client that is need of Male and Female Talent ages 28+ to give Testimonials for an Infomercial for a Credit Company.
 
Here is how it will work:
 
At the bottom of this posting are the Characters and their Testimonials. You will need to go through each of them, pick, and memorize 2 parts (THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE WORD PERFECT AS LONG AS YOU HIT THE IMPORTANT PARTS)
 
On Tuesday, June 14 or Wednesday, June 15 between 12:00pm- 5:00pm each day, you will go into a local studio in Midvale, Utah and record the testimonial on-camera.
 
IMPORTANT- If your Testimonial is selected by the client, they will contact Craze and you will receive a $75 compensation and your Testimonial will show up on the Infomercial.
 
If you are not selected, obviously you won't be paid but you will get some valuable experience out of it.

Oscar winning producer Greg Shapiro's Kingsgate Films is currently in pre-production on the feature film "Detachment", and Chrystie Street Casting is seeking two girls ages 14 and 16 to star in the film. Greg Shapiro has produced such films as The Hurt Locker, the Harold & Kumar films, and the upcoming Johnny Depp film The Rum Diary. The casting call has gone out in both New York and Los Angeles.

Here is what they are seeking:

This film revolves around mature subject matter.

A small, pretty, 14 Year old girl.
A slightly overweight 16 year old girl.

Erica: 14 years old, any ethnicity. A homeless prostitute who is pretty, small and pale, she is accustomed to being sexually and physically abused. When Henry takes pity on her and brings her home so she can get cleaned up and receive medical attention, she propositions him and is surprised by his refusals. While she lives at Henry’s they fall into a domestic routine, but the situation is temporary. Prone to philosophizing, Erica takes up journaling and confesses her all-encompassing love for Henry. She’s devastated and breaks down into hysterics when he sends her away.

Meredith: 16 years old, any ethnicity. A bit chunky but beautiful, she’s an extremely sensitive, intelligent, and unhappy high school student who finds solace in art and photography. For Meredith, Henry is a godsend teacher, and she is deeply upset when her affection for him is not returned. Troubled and sad, suicidal and possibly suffering from an eating disorder, Meredith poisons a huge batch of cupcakes and hands them out for free, saving the most lethal cake for herself in a school-wide tragedy.

Local filmmaker Kevin Lacy is looking for gifted actors to star in his final student project at the University of Utah. Shooting is scheduled to commence mid-July 2010 and is expected to last three days, though actors should be willing to commit to more time if necessary.

This film is a non-paying student film. However, food will be provided on shoot days. Also, for those actors looking to gain greater exposure, the film, once finished, will be submitted to national and international film festivals as well as film contests around the globe.

Go to http://www.crazeagency.com  and on the top left side of the page you will insert your user name. Your user name will be your first name with the first letter capitalized and then your last name no spaces in between your names with the first letter in your last name capitalized.

Some examples would be Steve Smith user name is SteveSmith, or Janet Thompson user name JanetThompson .

Now put in your password, it will be the first three letters in your first name with the first letter capitalized and then with no space put in your full last name. An example would be Steve Smith would have a password of SteSmith or Janet Thompson would be JanThompson .  

 

Now click login.

 

This will pull up a new page welcoming you and at the top left corner you will see edit profile, click that and it will pull up your page. Now you can enter your important data. Please accurately update this information anytime it changes. Fill in as much data as possible. You will see there are columns for things like your address and phone and email etc.

 

This is how we will contact you; it must be up to date. If it ever changes you need to update it immediately also email us and let us know. The vital information is only for Craze Agency and will never be given out to clients except your phone number if they need to directly call you and they have our permission

 

If you are new with Craze or it does not work give it about 7-14 days if it does not work then, email us at crazeagency@sisna.com and we will put you in manually. Be patient we have been putting in over 100,000 statistics on all of you the last 7 months! If you have a really long name it may need us to adjust it for you the first time!

 

After you have accurately entered all of your information you may change your password if you wish, so that no one except you and the agency can get into your information. Please write down your password and save it, we do not have time to look up login and passwords!

 

Finally after you have inputted all of your information you must scroll to the bottom of the page and SAVE CHANGES.

 

This is a database system that Craze uses to help our hiring clients know more about you.

National Prime Time Opportunities

Oprah Winfrey and Mark Burnett (prod. of Survivor and The Apprentice) are casting the new competition series Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star.
 
The television competition will feature participants taking part in challenges that will test whether they have what it takes to be the "next big TV star." The winner of the series will host their own talk show produced for Oprah's new network OWN (The Oprah Winfrey Network). Series premieres in 2011 on OWN. Jean Worldwide, Inc., prod. Contest ends July 3; series shoots approx. six weeks in Aug., Sept., and/or Oct.

Seeking—Contestants: male and female, must be 21+, to compete for a chance to host a talk show in categories including Traditional Talk Show, Interior Design or Fashion, Cooking, Health & Wellbeing, and "Wildcard," must be legal residents of the U.S. Note: Applicants must choose one of the above talk show categories. Producers state: "Do you have a big personality and a big dream for yourself? This could be your big break, the chance of a lifetime to host your own talk show on OWN. If you think you have 'it,' upload your video audition or go to an open casting call."

New York/New Jersey auditions will be held June 5 at Kohl's, 1900 E. Linden Ave., Linden, NJ. Texas audtions will be held June 12 at Kohl's, 4708 W. Spring Creek Pkwy., Plano, TX. California auditions will be held June 19 at Kohl's, 27380 Heather Ridge Rd., Laguna Niguel, CA. Georgia auditions will be held June 26 at Kohl's, 620 W. Crossville Rd., Roswell, GA. Wristbands will be distributed at 8 a.m.; interviews begin at 9 a.m. at each location. Contestants can begin lining up in the Kohl's parking lot at 6 a.m.; absolutely no overnight camping will be permitted the night before the casting call. Oprah will not attend any of the casting calls.

Submission deadline is June 26. The top five online submissions as voted on by the general public will be flown to L.A to meet the producers of the competition series. They will join a pool of talent selected by producers from the in-person casting calls and online submissions. From this group of finalists, a group of 10 cast members will be chosen to appear in the television competition series; at least one online favorite from the top five online submissions will be chosen for the television competition series. No fees or purchases required. Possible pay, plus travel and lodging provided.

The Spokane Entertainers Guild is looking for other Volunteers for THE FIRST ANNUAL SPOKANE RENAISSANCE FAIRE!

Dates for the Faire: September 25th & 26th and October 2nd & 3rd 2010. (first weekend in Sept / last weekend in Oct)

Our goal is to help many different charities throughout the year and we need your support. The Renaissance Faire is just one of our planned events that will raise money for other organizations. Our chosen charity for this Faire is Cat Tales Zoological Park!
