Kissing Frogs Productions will be holding auditions for the short film "Mantuition" on Thursday, May 6th and Saturday, May 8th. Short comic monologues are preferred, but there will also be a cold reading available.
Shooting dates will be May 18-24th, with the majority of roles filming one day. Please bring your availability during those dates with you to the audition. Some of the roles are non-speaking, however, they are very important to the script and require good acting ability.

Men everywhere were surprised and dismayed when they were given a secret pass into the inner workings of the woman's mind in the 2000 film, What Women Want, starring Mel Gibson. In the pursuit of equality and understanding, we set out to give women the same sneaky advantage. In our new film, Mantuition, our protagonist, Chelsea Anderson, has a little morning mishap and soon discovers that she has the power to read men's minds. What follows is a roller coaster adventure of extraordinary simplicity and profound crudity. Like most other roller coaster rides, after all the hype, it turns out to be a lot shorter than you might expect. Is it a chick flick? Is it a screwball comedy? It's Mantuition: the comedy film of diminutive proportion that will bring enlightenment to women everywhere.

Project:  Mormon Messages: Elder Hales “Grandpa!  Are you in there?”

The LDS Audiovisual Department is producing a “Mormon Message” for the internet that centers around Elder Robert D. Hales talk given in April General Conference of this year. They are looking for a couple of actors to re-enact a story he told for “B-roll” footage that will be played under Elder Hales’s talk.

We have a client who has got a PSA shoot coming up for a non-profit gov. organization called the National Children's Study. 
 
The shoot will take place the week of May 24th in Logan, Utah
 
They are looking for 2 guys and 2 girls in their mid-20's to early 30's - any ethnicity.
 
Models will be posed as future parents. They will be environmental portraits shot in the Logan area. Talent will be needed for approx. 1.5hrs.  This is a super tight budget and pay is $150 per person. That rate includes travel time/expense. The usage is unlimited within this organization and won't be used for any other purpose outside of National Children's Study.

Utah Theatre Auditions- Some are PAID!

The Midvale City Arts Council will be presenting “Bye, Bye Birdie” this summer.  Auditions for this show will be held Tuesday May 4 and Thursday May 6 from 7-10 pm at the Midvale Performing Arts Center, 695 West Center Street (7720 South), Midvale.  No appointment is necessary.
 
Call backs will be Saturday, May 8 by invitation only. 
 
All roles are open.  Bring a Headshot and Resume.  Please come prepared with 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway or 50’s style song.  An accompanist will be provided; please no pre-recorded music or unaccompanied songs.  You may also be asked to do cold reading from the script. Dancing will not be required until call backs.

Currently auditioning semi professional roles for a theatrical  production of "I am Jane". The show performs in the Grand Theater in Salt Lake City and the Covey Center in Provo. If so, they want to capture it and pay you for it. Local client will pay you $15 for showing up and attempting to make your baby laugh and another $35 if they choose to use the recording.

They have a location set up at a local photography studio in downtown Provo, with appointments available from 9:30 to noon on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (May 5, 6, and 7th) Each appointment will take 15 minutes.
