We are working with a local Production company that is producing a Web video for a national Electronic Cigarette company.
 
The video will be used to promote a smarter, better, and healthier alternative to smoking.
 
The client would like to book 1 Male and 1 Female ages 30-40 for some b-roll footage. These are non-speaking roles. MUST BE ok with smoking a regular cigarette and the electronic cigarette
 
Should be a pretty easy 1 hour shoot in Salt Lake City and you will be paid $60 for you time.
 
They can be open to your schedule but need to shoot before Tuesday, May 4.

Short Film Auditions- Fiction Under $5

Casting for a short film titled, "Fiction Under $5.” This will be a one-day shoot on either May 29th or June 12th in Provo, Utah. They will also hold a few rehearsals prior to filming. You will receive a copy of the film on DVD, credit and meals, but no pay. However, this will be an HD production with a professional crew. It will be a good experience for everyone. It will be placed on the web, You-tube, and may find some film festival opportunities.

Synopsis: When Michael meets Sarah in the Fiction Under $5 section of the local bookstore, he realizes it wasn't just a book he was looking for.

Casting for the following roles:

American Crew needs to hire Male models for a hair show.
American Crew, the leader in Men's hair products, is looking for Male Models ages 18 and older who are willing to get their hair cut on stage.
They will not be doing any crazy haircuts- American Crew specializes in classic haircuts for Men.
There is no height requirement.
They will also need a few models with graying hair to demonstrate their new product-Precision Blend Hair Color.

PAY RATE:
$50 for about 2 hours work- plus free product, a free t-shirt and a free haircut.

PTC Announces Auditions for Hamlet & Dracula, PAID Positions, Utah

Pioneer Theatre Company Announces Local Auditions for:
HAMLET and DRACULA

Pioneer Theatre Company announces local auditions for their productions of both HAMLET and DRACULA. Auditions for both shows will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Callbacks are scheduled for Friday, May 21, 2010. Exact callback times will be announced to auditioners.

AEA-only auditions will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, but AEA members may sign up for any time slot. Non-AEA auditioners may audition from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on that same date.

AEA (Equity) members may email Elizabeth Williamson beginning May 13, 2010 to sign up for a time slot. This service is available only to AEA members; non-AEA auditioners must come in and sign up for an audition time slot on the board inside Room 325 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. The sign-up sheet will be posted by noon on Thursday, May 13, 2010. AEA members may email Elizabeth Williamson at elizabeth.williamson@ptc.utah.edu only after May 13, 2010.

Auditions will be held in Room 237 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. For the HAMLET audition, actors must prepare a monologue from Shakespeare; monologues should be no longer than 3 minutes. Scripts and sides for HAMLET will NOT be provided for this audition.

Actors auditioning for DRACULA will be asked to read from the script. Scripts and audition sides for DRACULA will be available for checkout from the PTC Business Office (Room 325) on Thursday, May 13, 2010. DRACULA scripts may be checked out on an overnight basis from the theatre offices located in Room 325 at Simmons PMT.

A photo and resume are recommended. 

Rehearsal dates for the production of HAMLET are Monday, August 23, 2010 through Thursday, September 16, 2010. HAMLET production dates are Friday, September 17, 2010 through Saturday, October 2, 2010.

Rehearsal dates for the production of DRACULA are Monday, September 27, 2010 through Thursday, October 21, 2010. DRACULA production dates are Friday, October 22, 2010 through Saturday, November 6, 2010.

PTC Artistic Director Charles Morey will direct both productions. All roles in both HAMLET and DRACULA are open. There are roles in HAMLET for 13 men and 3 women. In the cast of DRACULA there are roles for 8 men and 6 women. All auditioners must be 18 years of age or older.
 
All positions with Pioneer Theatre Company are paid!

Experinced BMX Bikers ages 18-30 needed for National Sprint Commercial

Jeff Johnson Casting out of Salt Lake City, Utah  is conducting a talent search for medium to expert BMX Bikers.
 
BMX Bikers are needed for a National Sprint Commercial. While exact rates are TBD these type of projects pay really well as talent are put on a National Commercial SAG Contract with residuals.
 
The commercial will feature BMX bikers out at the Bonneville Salt Flats riding off of a 4-5 ft ramp, where they will do a spin or 360 and land on the flats.
 
Looking for experience bikers ages 18-30.
 
Auditions will be held in Salt Lake City tomorrow, April 28 or Thursday, April 29 from 1:00pm- 5:00pm. Casting Director will meet you and will also take any footage you have to submit to the National Producers of the Commercial.
