Utah Filmmakers Meet and Greet & Film Utah Magazine are hooking up. We have decided to join forces so the force will be with us!!!!

We are working on a the meet and greet schedule for the rest of year so you all can start to save the dates! At all the meet and greets we will start with an informative meeting/workshop on a variety of topics. We are choosing topics that will keep us all on track to being not only good but GREAT at our profession. We are always in competition with the bigger markets so we have to play like the big boys do to stay in the running to keep bigger films flowing in.

We can do this! Lets make Utah an even greater state to film in than it already is. Lets keep our skills sharp to be prepared when opportunity knocks!

Story
Ruth Culpepper is a young nurse stationed at Pearl Harbor in 1941. One December night she sends a scrambled message from her fiance's government office as a prank--but when Pearl Harbor is bombed the next day, suddenly her innocent little prank becomes a suspicious coded message under investigation by the US government.

Amy & Marianne - Age Range: 18
Two girls who live to be popular and both are infatuated with Erin’s boyfriend, Mike. They both have dialogue in several scenes and do some simple dancing and back up vocals.

Angela's Mother- Age Range: 40s.
English working class – strong accent. Loves her daughters but beaten down by the difficult life of the English poor. Must be able to do English accent. (No singing required)

Erin's Mother - Age Range: 40s.
Pleasant, self-assured woman – teaches elementary school. Is dealing with the recent loss of her mother which plays into a pivotal scene in the musical. (No singing required)

Grown Up Samantha/Waitress - Age Range: 20s.
The grown up version of Angela's younger sister Samantha. (Back Up Vocals/Harmony)

Extras - There are many scenes where we need extras!

ALSO NEED SOME CREW MEMBERS:
(Most of this work will be a mix of hourly pay and volunteer effort.)

Rogers Cinematic is casting for a feature film currently in development/pre-production.
 
Marilyn MacLaren and the Lost City of Gold:
 
The movie is described as a Disney-meets-Indiana-Jones family adventure.
 
The following roles are available:

MARILYN MACLAREN: Female lead character, age 11-15, blond or brunette. She is an
adventurer/explorer, in good physical condition, enthusiastic, very smart. Will
need to train with our martial arts instructor for some choreographed scenes.

ELIZABETH MACLAREN: Female lead character, age 25-35, blond or brunette. She is an
adventurer/explorer, in good physical condition. Will need to train with our
martial arts instructor for some choreographed scenes.

JIM MACLAREN: Male lead character, age 30-40, brunette. He is an adventurer/explorer,
in good physical condition. Will need to train with our martial arts instructor
for some choreographed scenes.

WENDY BALUN: Female supporting character, age 18-25, blond or brunette.

JUSTIN BALUN: Male supporting character, age 11-15, blond or brunette.

KARL SVENSEN: Male supporting character, age 30-45, blond. Must be able to speak with a
slight Dutch/German accent.

SANTIAGO: Male supporting role. He is the antagonist. Hispanic,
from South America, with a mild accent.

SANTIAGO'S FEMALE BODYGUARD: Hispanic looking, but with limited or no speaking. Must be tough
or athletic. She is Santiago's personal bodyguard. Will need to train with our
martial arts instructor for some choreographed scenes.

Other minor roles will also be available.
 
Compensation: $2000 per week during principal photography.
