"STAR TREK" spoof Music Video needs Actors/Models/Dancers for shoot in Salt Lake City.

This is a music video of a song called SPACE PIMP, by a local band called "REVEREND MAYHEM," and it's STAR TREK based. It's a song about Captain James T. Kirk and his various intergalactic loves. This will feature top of the line production values, and will play on youtube and other places - this is a non paid gig, but will be a lot of fun and great exposure.

They will need:
A Sulu look-alike (an Asian man.).
A Spock look-alike (someone who can raise one eyebrow is a plus.).
An Uhura look-alike (Attractive African -American woman.).
Various Star Trek creatures (Klingons, Romulans, etc - owning your own costume is a plus.)
As well as various attractive women to play Orion slave girls, and other space beauties (dancing ability is a plus.).

THE SALESMAN- Shooting in Salt Lake City

This is a short comedy drama, heavy on the drama, about military recruiters, the tactics they use and the lengths they will go to, and the pressure involved in recruiting in finding recruits during war time. This is a poilitically edgy drama - if you are a Glenn Beck fan, this probably isn't for you.

The film will be shot in February on HD 1080P cameras, and other top of the line equipment. There is no pay but the film will be entered in various festivals and will provide great exposure for a demo reel.

Roles include:
College Students (male and female, 18-25)
Gang Member (18-early twenties)
Sexy Woman (20's)

Auditions are being held for a feature film " Murderous Bounty" on Saturday January 23rd at 7:00pm- 8:00pm.
 
Audition Location is:
3300 S. 1871 E.
Salt Lake City, Utah 84106
 
**Please be aware that this is a Rated R film with sexual content and violence.**
 
There is no Upfront compensation due to being a no-to low budget. This is an action packed film. Distribution is set for national DVD release and working on Theatrical.
 
The storyline revolves around an assassin who winds up killing the wrong target. A bounty hunter with a capability for special cases is hired to seek her out. A lot of action sequences should make this film shine bright.

Cast needed:
David Coon: Caucasian (age 40-50)
Myles: Assassin-in-training (age 25-35)
Kaitlyn Winniker: Special Agent with P.D. (age 30-45)
Kitty: (Female) Former assassin
 
This is a cold read audition and sides/scripts will be available at the audition.

Your hard work and dedication will continue to show out of state clients and productions how great of a film and talent community we have, and entice them to shoot more of these projects here and create more opportunities for you!!
 
The Proctor and Gamble spot is now paying!!
 
This is a friendly reminder that your Commissions are due within 7 days of receiving your check. 10% of the Gross before taxes are due on all Extra work where compensation is less than $100. Anything over is 15%. Any Acting, Modeling, Dancing, Promotional Modeling, etc. is 15%.
 
We will be receiving lists of Talent who have worked and on what days. If we do not receive your Commission in a timely manner we will be forced to remove you from the active Craze Agency Database. We do not want this to happen so make sure you take care of this when you are paid.
 
Normally it can take 2-5 weeks to get paid from the date(s) you worked. Let us know if have not been paid.

Due to abuse of the system, Utah Extras will no longer offer a 'trial' period. In order for your account to be activated you MUST pay the membership fee which is $25- $35 per year.
 
Utah Extras is not affiliated and has nothing to do with the Craze Agency. We are sending this out as a service to you. Having a profile set up with Utah Extras is the only way you will be booked to work as an Extra for these projects.
 
This opportunity is ONLY for Craze Agency Talent.

Open Dance Auditions for the 82nd Academy Awards

Open dance auditions for the 82nd Academy Awards® telecast will be held on Friday, January 22, and Saturday, January 23, at CenterStaging in Burbank, California.
 
Cast dancers will perform live during the Academy Awards show on Sunday, March 7, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®.

The auditions are open to professional-level male and female dancers in the contemporary and hip-hop styles who are between the ages of 18 and 30.

Shankman, who began his career as a dancer and once performed on the Oscar show, will be choreographing the audition numbers with associate choreographers Anne Fletcher and Jamal Sims.

CenterStaging is located at 3407 Winona Avenue in Burbank. Interested dancers should note that parking is not available at CenterStaging. Individuals will need to find parking in the vicinity and pay any associated costs. Only qualified dancers will be admitted; there is no access for watching the auditions.

BYU Student Film Project, CASTING IMMEDIATELY!!

BYU Student Film Project
 
This is a TMA 285 project and would be a great experience for aspiring actors.
 
The auditions are Wednesday Jan. 20th between 2:30pm and 5:00pm in Provo, Utah
 
The film will be shot on 16 mm. It is a quirky romantic comedy set against a bizarre backdrop of homicide scenes.
 
This film features three main characters:
 
Jack - charming young guy who likes the girl
Jane - young, smart, and ambitious
Ziggy - Jack's best friend who is outgoing, witty, and a bit eccentric

All character's ages range in the mid-twenties to thirty.
