Benefit for Autism

January 4, 2010
The CTA was notified recently of a severe budget cut of $500,000.00 which would cost the autistic people receiving care to lose activities and  therapeutic auditory devices which are needed to improve the care they receive.

It was then decided to put together a benefit program to recoup as much of the budgetary loss as possible.

Proposed solution is to hold a benefit auction to raise autism awareness and funding for CTA.

The benefit will be a celebrity/high profile, date/activity auction during a dinner/dance at LaCaille Restaurant, to be broadcast on TV and/or web.

The auction is to help raise not only awareness for Autism but also funding for CTA. CTA is a Not-for-Profit organization who are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of services available that will enable individuals with Autism to fully participate in all aspects of the community.

For the benefit they will be auctioning off a date/activity with high profile and qualifying local Salt Lake individuals including but not limited to; Dancers, local politicians, Pageant winners, local Actors, Models, celebs and the public.

Some of the higher profile participants as auctionees include:
Amy Davis - Miss Utah, America 2004; Julia Bachison-Miss Utah, America 2005; Chris Gann - actor; Katya Feinstein- Miss Utah, USA 2010; Senator Orrin Hatch - scheduling allowing; Senator Bob Bennett -scheduling allowing; Mayor Ralph Becker; Mayor Kelvyn Cullimore;Mayor Russ Wall

Celebrity/high profile participants to hold their activity/date within 6 mos. of the auction and can participate if not available to attend the dinner/dance auction, based on their availability.

Dinner will be held on Friday April 30, beginning at 5:00 p.m., with the auction and dance following dinner. Approximately 5 hr. duration.

If you are interested and would like to be considered for this event email crazeagency@sisna.com or bookings@crazeagency.com. This is for consideration to be auctioned off for a date/activity.
