They are in need of a Female Promo Model, 18-35 to work 3 upcoming Utah Jazz Home games on Saturday, January 2, Monday, January 4 and Wednesday, January 6
 
Looking for a girl with an attractive look and great personality.
 
Call time would be 5:00pm and you will work until 9:00pm at Energy Solutions Arena in Downtown SLC.
 
Pay is $12/hr.
You will also be able to stay and watch the rest of the game after your shift. If this picks up it could lead to ongoing opportunities as well as higher paying jobs that you could be on the top of the list for.
 
Duties include interacting with game attendees, greeting and working as a hostess for an interactive contest.

This beautiful fairy tale about an emperor enchanted by a nightingale's song will be performed in Japanese kabuki theatre style.

Director Sara Edlin-Marlowe is looking for 12-15 actors ages 10 to adult. She also needs one ballerina to play the nightingale. This show is not a musical. Come prepared to do cold readings from the script and dress comfortably for dance/movement auditions. The Nightingale opens March 20th and plays Friday evenings and weekends through March 28th.

Director Dawn Taylor-Reinhart is looking for four children ages 8-16 and four adult actors: two men and two women. This show is not a musical. Come prepared to do cold readings from the script. The Boxcar Children opens May 22nd and plays weekends through June 6th.

Pioneer Theatre Company Announces Auditions for the Musical
42ND STREET

Auditions for Pioneer Theatre Company's 2009-2010 Season finale, the dance extravaganza 42ND STREET, will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010 and Friday, January 15, 2010, from noon to 5:00 p.m. each day. Callbacks will be Saturday, January 16, 2010; that time will be announced.

Audition slots from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January14 and from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15 are for Actors' Equity members only. Audition slots from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, and from noon to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15 are open to all auditioners.

Non-AEA auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. AEA members may contact Elizabeth Williamson at elizabeth.williamson@ptc.utah.edu to sign up, as early as Thursday, January 7, 2010. (This feature is available for Actors' Equity members only, and only as early as one week prior to auditions.)

The sign-up sheet will be posted by noon on Friday, January 8, 2010. Auditions will be held in Room 245 at the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Scripts and/or scores will NOT be available for checkout.

The first audition will be singing only. Auditioners should prepare a song from the show or in a similar Broadway style. An accompanist will be provided, but auditioners should bring their own sheet music and/or scores (neither will be provided by the theatre). A photo and resume are recommended. The callback audition will involve dancing and reading from the script as well.

Rehearsal dates for the production are Monday, March 29, 2010 - Thursday, April 22, 2010; performance dates are April 23, 2010 - May 8, 2010. PTC Artistic Director Charles Morey will direct the production, Patti D'Beck will choreograph, and Michael Rice will be the musical director.

All roles are currently available.

Your hard work and dedication will continue to show out of state clients and productions how great of a film and talent community we have, and entice them to shoot more of these projects here and create more opportunities for you!!
 
This project will pay you directly!
 
This is a friendly reminder that your Commissions are due within 7 days of receiving your check. 10% of the Gross before taxes are due on all Extra work where compensation is less than $100. Anything over is 15%. Any Acting, Modeling, Dancing, Promotional Modeling, etc. is 15%.
 
We will be receiving lists of Talent who have worked and on what days. If we do not receive your Commission in a timely manner we will be forced to remove you from the active Craze Agency Database. We do not want this to happen so make sure you take care of this when you are paid.
 
Normally it can take 2-5 weeks to get paid from the date(s) you worked. Let us know if have not been paid.

NUMBER OF PEOPLE (“TALENT”):   4 total Male or Female Models, ages 18-35. Client is  looking for the more “fit or active” looking Models.

PROJECT DETAILS: Client will have a 20 foot open/ heated inflatable dome that you will be working in. During the event you will be handing out PowerBar samples, educating consumers on the benefits of Powerbar (see training) or working in the gaming or WiFi station. Other responsibilities may be assigned by your manager.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must speak English
  •  Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High positive energy, and an outgoing individuals
  • Capacity to work independently and be accountable for actions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to work as a team player and maintain a high level of enthusiasm while working with consumers
RATE:   $18/hr or $549 total for the event.

WARDROBE:  You would need to wear your own khakis pants & comfortable tennis shoes. Client will provide you with a PowerBar t-shirt for the event. Please feel free to dress warm, you can wear non-branded winter jackets, hats and gloves.

Auditions for stage production of, "The Little Mermaid" Utah

The Academy of Performing Arts would like to extend a new year’s invitation to children and adult actors, dancers, gymnasts and stunt performers.
 
Come with us, far out into the oceans of the world as we create the magical, undersea world of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid.  
 
A cast of 50 is required to stage this event with the aid of special theatrical effects, elaborate costumes, richly colored lighting and creative set designs.
 
A casting call for Utah talent will be held on January 4th and 6th 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Academy theatre, located at 2207 south, Main Street. 
 
Please bring a headshot and resume and wear clothing that allows freedom of movement.
 
Talent will be asked to read from the script and learn a short dance sequence.
 
The Little Mermaid is adapted, written for the stage and directed by Academy founder, Collin Kreuzer and Choreographed by Mr. Rowland Butler and Rose Bench.
 
The curtain rises on The Little Mermaid, March 13th and will play every Monday, Friday and Saturday evening at 7:30, through April 24th. Select matinee performances will be announced.
