A Fallen Sky Production Presents “If Not Love” an Austin James Green and Jonathan Steven Green film. INL is an independent short (25min) film.

 

The intention in producing this film is for film festivals. The film will be submitted to around 20 film festivals. Due to INL being a short film, there is no budget, so this is a NON PAID job. However the team produces great, professional level work and are looking for actors who can deliver the same quality of work.

 

IF NOT LOVE will be shot in the month of December.

 

 

SYNOPSIS:

INL is a story about Daina, a man who becomes diagnosed with a pathological disorder. His new meds are destroying his old reality and replacing it with the reality that everyone functions from. Unfortunately the girl he loves is part of his lie, which he truly believes to be real. As bad as the conflict is, the couple won’t give up. If Not Love – than what else. This story is design to pose an argument on what is real and what isn’t. A relative reality story. – IF NOT LOVE.

SYNOPSIS: A young girl KATELYN is raped. Dealing with this rape she has been seeing a psychiatrist. The film picks up 2 days after the rape.

 

KATELYN is leaving the shrinks office. On her way home she is bothered by three guys, hence scaring her and deepening her trauma. She gets home and begins to read over her literature to try and calm herself. Later that night noises outside the house are frightening KATELYN. The terror has only started.

 

The character of KATELYN is between the ages of 18 & 25. She lives with her family. She is not a strong person. She is cute but not Barbie type. She doesn't wear any makeup since the attack.

 

Need a strong Female actor for this part. Someone who can be scared. Really scared. A good screamer. There will be lots of physicality to this roll. A lot of running.

 

There is no pay for this part but Food & Copy will be provided.

Guys and Boys they want to see hats. Again look on line. You are NOT gun slinging cowboys just simple pioneers. Ladies and Girls bonnets are optional, but try to get the long dress look, NOT fancy or even clean, you are traveling pioneers.  They would like to see some eyeglasses.  Everyone - Worn is better. Don't be shiny and new. The more creative you are the better chance you will have of being in this film.

Auditions for short film, "Jackie O" which is in production and set to shoot Jan 29, 30, Feb 5,6, 12,13, 2010.  
 
The story is comedic but deals with serious issues at it's heart. Jackie, a police woman, is driven by justice, so much in fact that she forgets how to be merciful. With help from her boss and a young man named Jose, she learns kindness.  

Below is the character breakdown for the roles they are currently looking for.

Auditions will be carried out by appointment on Friday, November 20 from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM on the BYU Campus in Provo, Utah 
 
CHARACTERS:

 

Jackie Obrien

Heavier set lady. Parole officer (29 - 39).  If Chuck Noris, Rambo, and Crocodile Dundee lined up, she could give each of them a run for their money.  She is eccentric, lacks social graces and is not in to makeup.  She is justice personified but enforces it to extremes.  Suspicious of everyone, she sees the justice system as slow and too easy on criminals.  Knows neither fear nor limits.  She is alone in the world but has learned to live with it.


Jose Martinez 

Slender and smaller Latino man (23 - 27) who is soft spoken, somewhat cowardly, and does not like confrontation.


Sergeant

Firm and authoritative man (40 - 50) (Preferably African American).  He is strong and fearless and has worked the streets for years.  He is not easily surprised or caught off guard.  He knows Jackie better than most but remains rigid where their duties are concerned.
