Program Description:

General Growth Property Malls would like to reward their shoppers for spending in a GGP facility. The Concept: To bring about this “reward” program.

Malls (nationwide) will have Greeters and Brand Ambassadors stationed at locations within the mall. Consumers will bring their receipts to the staff, and for each “X” amount they spend, they will be rewarded with a GGP gift card to be used at the mall.

Female (18-30) Greeter Responsibilities:

·         Primary function is to stand at mall entrances and hand out in-mall offer sheets.

      Secondary Function is to Greet all Mall Consumers, and relay in-mall offer information to them, to drive sales and Gift-With-Purchase Offer redemption

Attire:

NICE Jeans (NO holes, rips or fraying) with clean, closed-toed shoes. A shirt (size small or medium only) and hat will be provided on-site. All staffers must be clean-cut, NO visible tattoos, NO visible piercings other than ears.

Teen Boy needed for Film, Nampa, Idaho

Auditioning for a teen boy who can pass for 14 to play the part of Huck Finn in a short film.

The role will be a 5 minute soliloquey based on Twain's character. The film will be played every night before curtain at a Twain play later in the fall.

Filming date is flexible and TBD. No pay, credit and exposure.

Auditions will be held beginning at 6:30pm on Tuesday, Sept. 15th on the campus of Northest Nazarene Unversity in Nampa. Other times possible by appointment.

Boise Independent Feature, Female Lead Role, 20-30

Sour Bamboo Productions is holding a casting call for an attractive, exotic-looking female to play a lead role in our film, A Strange Curse of Love.
 
Payment is Defferred until end of production

The film is a roller-coaster thriller which will have everything you know about plot twists blended into a mess of the mind. If you like films like Pulp Fiction and U-Turn, this will be a grabber for you. Produced by Sour Bamboo and Directed by Malek Haneen who worked on such films as Loaded, Traitor, and several VH1 videos.

The character, Penelope, is very ambitious, beautiful, knows what she wants and how to get it, exotic looking 20-30 years old and very down to earth type of personality. She plays the girlfriend of our character, Sean, who has a very calm personality (think Travolta in Pulp Fiction or Sawyer from Lost).

One Month In: Short Film Casting, Male Actor, early to mid 20's, Utah

September 8, 2009

Casting will be held for the film short, "One Month In" on Tuesday September 15, 2009 at the Salt Lake Community College Campus, with call backs on Sept. 17.

One Month In.
Drama. A conversation between two brothers in a bedroom; the younger, depressed and confining himself to his room, weighed down by social standards and the cares of the world, the elder, who is being bombarded by their overbearing mother because she can't get in contact with the younger, comes to relieve himself of this burden, and also to resolve some of his younger brothers issues, though mostly out of a sense of family obligation. Heavily character and dialogue driven.

Role Needed:
Little Man (younger brother)
Early to mid 20s. Clinically depressed. Intelligent but emotional to a fault. Weighed down by cares of the world. Presence must invoke empathy. Has confined himself to his room for nearly a month, so must have an unkempt look.

Filming will take place on or around October 1st. It will be a single day of shooting, with a couple days of rehearsal.

This is a student film, so unfortunately there will be no financial compensation for talent; but all involved will be fed and given a copy of the final product. The film will be submitted to appropriate film festivals this fall and the upcoming year.

Will be using a high definition Sony camera and other professional equipment. This is a great opportunity to build a demo reel and gain experience. Talent of all experiences are encouraged.

Open Audition- Teaser Trailer shoot for Feature Film, Male and Female, various ages, Utah

Ritual Pictures is casting for The Light of Daigh Teaser/Trailer. The Teaser shoot is scheduled for October 3-4 of 2009. (Looking to fill several other roles for the feature, including lead and supporting roles, so make an impression early.)

Plan now to audition for ‘Miracle on 34th Street’              

The West Jordan Theater Arts is holding auditions for their Christmas production, “Miracle on 34th Street,” Tuesday, Sept. 22 and Wednesday, Sept. 23. Auditions will be held at the Sugar Factory Playhouse, 8201 S. 2200 West, from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. nightly. Callbacks will be by invitation only.

The script follows the 1947 movie quite closely, however the stage version is a play with music, not a full musical.

Director Pat Oliver is seeking male and female actors ages 6 and up. There are 21 roles for men, approximately eight women’s roles, as well as some strong singers for the department store carolers. The featured children’s roles are for children ages 6-10.The role of Susan will be double cast. The part of Kris Kringle has been precast. All other roles are available.

Auditioners will read cold from the script. If the auditioner would like to be considered for a caroler role, please come prepared to sing 16 bars of a Christmas Carol.

“Miracle on 34th Street” will run Nov. 27-Dec. 14.

The Other Wise Man : Synopsis
Scene 1, The Observatory : Artaban searches the heavens for the new star that will herald the birth of the King of Light. He attempts to persuade his fellow magi to join him on his quest, but is left to make the journey to Jerusalem alone.

Scene 2, The Wilderness : Artaban and his servant Vasda are stopped in their journey by the need to help a sick traveler. When the traveler awakes, he tells them to seek the Christ in Bethlehem.

Scene 3, Bethlehem : Artaban and Vasda arrive in Bethlehem too late. In order to save the child of Miriam from Herod’s soldiers, Artaban is forced to bribe a guard with one of his gifts, a precious ruby intended for the ‘King of Light.’

Scene 4, Egypt : Having scoured Egypt for traces of the child he seeks, Artaban is prepared to give up, but finds new hope in the words of a Rabbi.

Scene 5, The Damascus Gate : Artaban has grown old searching for his king, only to find him at Jerusalem in the hands of his enemies. Will Artaban be in time to offer up the last of his gifts, a precious pearl, as a ransom for his king’s life?

Boise Theatre Troupe Auditions, Children 8-12

September 2, 2009
September 3 -- TRiCA holds auditions for "LEAP Troupe" for children ages 8-12.
 
LEAP Troupe is a performing ensemble that creates performance ready dances to be shown at different events throughout the year. This is a tuition based program, though financial assistance is always available. TrICA never turns away a student from participating due to financial resources.
 
There is no audition fee. No pre-registration is required to audition, just show up ready to dance your heart out.
    
Auditions are held 4-6pm and the Downtown YMCA in the TFAC room on the lower level. For more information call 208-344-2220 or by email at info@trica.org.
