JASON– 5-7 years old. Caucasian. Jason
is a well adjusted, adventurous young boy who adores and emulates his older
brother Chad. He loves playing outside, fishing, catching bugs,
etc. When they discover a young girl’s body lying in the woods
they decide to give her a proper burial. Jason and Chad spend the
rest of their day digging a grave for the mysterious
girl. STRONG SUPPORTING
CHAD - 7-9 years old.
Caucasian. Chad is a well adjusted and adventurous boy who loves
telling his younger brother what to do. Chad discovers Suzy’s body
while playing in the woods. He decides that burying her is the
right thing to do and spends the rest of his day creating a proper grave for the
girl. STRONG SUPPORTING.
CARRY – 15-18 years old, Caucasian,
pretty. Carry is one of Suzy's closest friends. She
is anxious to get the dirt when she sees TJ, as last night was to be “the night”
for the young couple. When Martha questions Carry on Suzy’s
whereabouts, the young girl covers for her friend until it becomes obvious
something is terribly wrong. 3 scenes.
KELLY – 15-18 years old, pretty and
wild. Kelly hangs out regularly with TJ, John and the
gang. Being a regular smoker, Kelly thinks thrill asphyxiation is
much harder for her than everyone else. 1

SHAWNA - 15-18 years old, Caucasian. Shawna watches her
friends asphyxiate and is concerned that it might be dangerous. 1

TODD - 17-19 years old, tall & lanky with long
hair. Todd gets a huge high from self induced
asphyxiation. When he finally comes to, Todd recounts a dream to
his friends of trees growing in the school hallway. 1
Scene.
MATT - 17-19 years old, short &
chubby. Matt is a heavy metal fan who insists that asphyxiation
isn’t any more dangerous than anything else, you just lose some brain cells.

DANICA - 17-19 years old, Caucasian, slim, pretty,
blonde. Danica unknowingly rats on Suzy, telling Martha that she
was at a party the night before. 1

OFFICER BENTLEY - 20-28 years old, Caucasian,
handsome. Bentley is a young officer in Buhl who teases the
Sheriff about being old when Ed spills coffee on his pants. 1
Scene.
HELEN - mid 30’s. Caucasian, attractive,
gentle. Helen keeps an eye on Chad and Jason, but believes it is
healthy for them to run around outside and therefore gives them free reign to
play in the woods. She is shocked to discover that they have spent
the day trying to bury Suzy’s body. 3

DAVE - mid 30’s, Caucasian,
well-built. Dave is a loving father who wants to be friends with
his sons Chad & Jason. While he demands respect from them, he
also takes time play and have fun. Dave is
speechless when he discovers the body his sons have tried to bury in the woods.

DELI WORKER - late 30’s, Caucasian, slightly
overweight. Works the counter in the local
deli. 1 line.
OFFICER - 30-38 years old, Caucasian,
Fit. Local Police Officer. 1

TERRY - early 30’s years old,
Caucasian. Terry is a hot shot who speeds down route 30 in his red
corvette and gives Jimmy a hard time for pulling him over. Getting
a speeding ticket would raise Terry’s insurance rates and ruin his chances with
the hot 20 year old in his passenger seat. 1

TOM OWENS - 35-40 years old, tall and lanky, California
Rancher. Tom has just relocated to Buhl from
California. He dams up water running through his land to feed his
cattle, which in turn causes Jerry’s trout to die. Tom refuses to
take responsibility Jerry’s lose, but is quick to threaten a law suit when Jerry
retaliates by shooting at his cattle. 2

TJ’s MOM - early 40’s,
Caucasian. TJ’s mom loves her son, but understands that he is a
teenager and needs a little space. 1
scene.
VET - 40-45 years old, very handsome and
dashing. The Vet and Martha have a subtly flirtatious
relationship. There is an obvious attraction between them and he
finds every excuse for Martha to bring her dog Mindy into the office. 1
scene.
ALISON – 50-55 years old, Caucasian,
attractive. Alison is a girlfriend of Martha’s. When
they meet for lunch at the local Mexican restaurant Alison teases her friend
about backing her explorer through the garage door. 1
scene.
LESLEY – 50-55 years old,
heavy-set. Lesley works as a secretary in the police
station. She has a great relationship with and jokes with him
about the coffee spilled on his pants. 1
line.
EDNA - 60’s, plain but strong looking woman, used to
be a barrel racer. Edna has been happily married to Ed forever.

DREW – 70, Caucasian. Drew is a farmer
and old friend of Sheriff Ed. Ed stops in on Drew looking
for a bale or two of hay, but Drew has already sold his last bit
from this harvest. 1
Scene.
OLD WOMAN – 75- 80 years old, Caucasian. TJ helps the
old woman with her bags as she leaves the grocery store. 1
line.
GRANDMA – late 60s – 70, Caucasian. Chad
& Jason’s Grandma comes for a visit with warm fresh
cookies. She tries to comfort the boys when Helen and Dave begin
to argue about the burial of Suzy's body. 1
scene.
EMILY – 4-6 years old. Cute and
friendly. Emily is Drew’s granddaughter, she is playing in the
yard when Ed comes for a visit. 1
line.
BOY – 11-13 years old, Caucasian. John pays him to
throw the dead fish into a running lawn mower creating “fish sticks” for the
commercial. The boy is concerned that the fish guts are clogging
the motor and wants to clean it off.
