Talent request- Comedian needed for party, Logan, Utah

Needed:

A Comedian to host a Saturday Night Live Party on Saturday, June 13, 2009, for the Logan Dance Club. Event will be held at the Logan Golf & Country Club, Logan, UT, near Utah State University.

This is for a group of about 50-60 couples, ages 30ish to 70ish, that meet quarterly for good friendship, good food, and a dancing band. 

The theme for this party is  Saturday Night Live: The First 5 Years -
think Steve Martin, Killer Bees, Coneheads, John Belushi, The Blues Brothers...

They are in need of someone who can MC/Host the event and provide Comedy. 

Guests arrive at 7 pm for drinks and appetizers. There will be a dance lesson about 7:30 pm (the hustle, and others), to warm up the crowd, followed by a costume contest (recognition of great costumes).  Dinner starts at 8 pm. 

At about 8:30 pm, they need a comedy act / series of skits (are flexible) of about 25-30 minutes, with jokes varied and tasteful. (No vulgarity, sexism, or racism, but everything else is fair game!)

The group is a mixture of community members - teachers and counselors, business owners, managers, university professors, etc.

Following the Comedy Act, there is a band (Labcoat) to provide dancing until about 1 am.  You can stay and play or be on your way.

Compensation is negotiable.  Dinner and dancing provided for Comedian(s) and their partners.

A Production Company out of California is casting, "Two Brothers" a Grad Film for Pasadena Art Center College of Design to be shot on Red One. Olivier Agostini, dir.; Tracie Snyder, prod.

Seeking 3 Roles. Actors MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE, THEATRE-EXPERIENCE A PLUS!

All Roles will pay! Pay will be $150- $300 per day depending on Role and experience.

Pop: Mid-late 40s, a rough, ragged man with a weathered face, obvious he's spent most of his life outdoors, working with his hands. Strong and menacing stature.

Bud: 16-20, simple-minded, solitary Boy who loves working on the family Farm. Although he seems "simple", he's got a rather dark side just waiting to surface.

Walt: 18-24, smart, stubborn, has always resented his Father, carries somewhat of a chip on his shoulder but is too much of a coward to do anything about it.

**Note: All roles are Caucasian Males and require rural accent/intonation. Actors must be comfortable with long Monologues, shooting firearms and wearing live-squibs, again theatre/film experience absolutely necessary.**

This Film is being shot by an award winning Student Director along with an award winning Director of Photography and promises to be an amazing experience! Tentative dates for shooting are during the week of July 13-19th but are subject to change.

Lehi City Arts Council will hold Auditions for, "Once On This Island" on Thursday, May 14 & Friday, May 15 from 7:00 to 10:00.  
 
Show will run the first two weeks of August.  
 
Come prepared with 32 bars of a Broadway style show and a short Monologue of less than 1 min.

The Academy of Performing Arts kicks off its 09-10 exciting Season of plays on the Phoenix theatre stage, with one of William Shakespeare’s most beloved and magical shows, a Midsummer Might’s Dream.

Season 5 starts Thursday, May 21 on FOX, but they want YOU for season 6 of SYTYCD and season six open castings are starting right away!!
