Actors/Actresses Needed for i48 Film Festival (Boise)

Team Effort will be submitting an entry to this year's Idaho 48 Festival--taking place May 29-31--where teams from Boise and around the Treasure Valley have two days to put together a short narrative (3-7 minutes long) based on a set of assigned criteria. All entries will be screened at the Flicks the next week, and the Best Of will be shown at the Egyptian downtown the weekend after that.

Looking for Talented and confident individuals who would be willing to act in their entry. The competition begins Friday, May 29 at 6:00pm and most of the production is expected to take place the following day.

Please understand that these are Students, not professionals, and will not be able to pay Talent. However, it will be a fun and productive two days, and they will be able to provide lunch and the chance to compete with professionals and seasoned hobbyists.

CastPartySLC Cabaret looking for Performers, Various, Utah

Club Manhattan is proud to host the CastPartySLC Cabaret, a weekly show every Saturday night from 7-9pm.

Singers and other performers will be auditioned Saturday May 23rd and Sunday May 24th (noon to 3pm) for upcoming dates throughout the summer.

Guest emcee spots are also open, comedians are encouraged to apply.

Come prepared with two songs of different styles and a resume. Leave us a picture to help remember you by.

An accompanist will be provided. Cabaret style is unique in the importance of relating to the audience in a performance setting. So 'personability' is a sought after quality. No orchestra or tracks here, just the piano, you and an attentive audience.

Cabaret material is neither straight show tunes or jazz songs and yet is both. Pop songs fit in, as well as comedic and torch songs. Check out our YouTube channel (CastPartySLC)

A local Producer is Casting for a 6-8 year old Girl for a NO budget Pilot that will be broadcast on Comcast On Demand. The Pilot is for a Series called, "Huntsville."
 
Huntsville is a small town that is attacked by wild creatures forcing the survivors to group together and relies on each other to stay alive.
 
The Female Role is for a Character named Faith. We see her at the beginning of the Episode having a Tea Party with her stuffed Bears outside her Playhouse. Faith's Parents are concerned because she is talking with an imaginary person who is telling her that creatures from the Forest will be coming to them that night.

The Thriller is about a Woman who's undying love for an aspiring Musician leads her to discover her dark side. Currently needs one Actress to play a victim and another for the killer.

Short Film needs leading Actress, 20-25, Utah

One Love is a Short Film set at a Funeral.

The lead Female role is the WIDOW. This is a non-speaking part, but the Actress MUST have very expressive eyes. Every bit of grief and sadness expressed by the WIDOW will be through her eyes, face, and body language. She is the saddest Woman in the world.

Age range is 20-25. Height range is 5' 5" to 5' 9" with proportionate weight. The ideal Actress will have a lean, trim body. Any hair length/color is okay, but they prefer a shorter style. This, however, will not disqualify anyone. The Actress will be fitted with a wig if the hair style isn't exactly what they want. Preference will be given to actress already living in Utah.

Production will be reviewing portfolios through May, and expect to cast in early- to mid-June. Auditions in Salt Lake City will be arranged for any Actress they would like to see in person.

This will only be a one or two day shoot in Utah, but any Actor could be called back for coverage and/or second unit shots. This is a non-paying, non-union role. All Actors and Crew will be fed through the duration of the shoot. All actors will be transported to and from Utah locations only (if necessary). A DVD of the completed project will be provided to each Actor and Crew member.

Auditions for New Original LDS Musical

Announcing Auditions for a Brand-New LDS musical!

MISSION, The Musical! is a story that is fresh and upbeat. The music is kind of a mix between Rent and Grease, with a little bit of classic Broadway sound. 

Show is scheduled to run three Weekends from August 28th, to September 12th. The show will be performed at the Post Theater at the University of Utah.

Auditions will be Wednesday, May 27th, and Thursday May 28th - 6 p.m. at the Student Union Theater on the U of U campus.

Callbacks will be Saturday, May 30th at the same location at noon.

Needed are Females ages 19-40 and Males ages 19-50.  (Lots of males 19-28)
