Actors will be paid a modest day rate on top of having food and gas
expenses covered if applicable.
- Synopsis -
In a political environment where corruption and greed runs unchecked and unbalanced, the hands of prudence take a new approach to societal convalescence when Eli kidnaps a corrupt Senator as collateral for communal restitution.
- Character Breakdowns -
Anchorwoman - (mid 30's) - An intelligent and well articulated career-anchorwoman who loves to report the news almost as much as she loves to smile. Competent and strong willed, this girl is headed straight to the top.
Senator Gald-Iron - (Early 50's) - A popular government figure with a dark side. He is a handsome man who commands every room he enters, behind a warm smile and cold, piercing eyes. His goals in life are simple; Excess and Power. Perverted by the corruption of both, he will do anything to secure whatever he wants in life, and to feed his secret fetish for young girls and cocaine.
Eli - (Early to Mid 30's) - A darkly handsome man of conviction. Calm and collected, Eli knows what he wants and he gets it. What Eli wants is public freedom from the suppressions of governmental corruption and abuse at any cost. He is willing to go to great lengths, at great risk to himself, to ensure that the cause of a better world is
realized. His strength comes from the support of his fellow Revolutionists, an unseen group of common-minded people who strive to perfect society and protect it from the wills of political corruption.
Stoner Girl - (Early 20's) - Sexy and she knows it. Stoner Girl has a dependency on hard drugs and will go to any length to get them, most often by male attention and working as a Madam for underage girls. She is sweet in
spite of this due to being perma-stoned.
Governmental Official - (late 30's to early 40's) - Married to his career, this Poindexter has learned a level of self-confidence due to years of working as a public official. Smart enough to get by, but overall not too bright, this
Official is doomed to a life of pencil pushing.
Suit - (Early to mid 40's) - All business and perfectly single, the Suit is a handsomely confident man with a
secret. This could be due to working in the Investigative branch of his government, where he is constantly overseeing classified material and research, or it could just be due to his piercing eyes that always seem to know more than he should.
Janitor - (40's to 50's) - A weather-worn man with a face like leather due to years of working with chemicals and hand tools to maintain a pack-a-day smoking habit and put enough food on the table for himself and his mutt of a dog. - No Dialogue -
College-Aged Girl - (early to mid 20's) - A pretty girl with a nervous composure. Her political interest begins and ends with Political Science-101, which requires political convention attendance for points. - No Dialogue -
Snide Desk Attendant - (Middle Aged Woman) - A stern and professional woman who ogles harshly down her long nose in any instance of serious discussion or hotel desk inquisitions. - No Dialogue -
Security Guard #1 - (30 Something) - This meathead is all muscle and all serious. In an oversized business suit, this watchdog is the Senator's right hand man. He loves his job and the many opportunities it offers to deliver pain and suffering to any poor fool that impacts the Senator in a negative way.
Security Guard #2 - (30 Something) - This meathead is all muscle and all serious. In an oversized business suit, this watchdog is the Senator's left hand man. He loves his job and the many opportunities it offers to deliver pain and suffering to any poor fool that impacts the Senator in a negative way.
Overdosed Teen Girl - (mid-teens) - This glossy-eyed teenager's pretty face is unkempt and too skinny. With the personality of a beaten puppy, the poor girl has suffered from years of being sold to the mercy of sexual predators and drug and alcohol abuse. Her life's trappings have led her to the Senator, who has a perverted fetish for young girls and cocaine. - No Dialogue -
Intern-Boy - (Early 20's) - Preppy-type college boy. Spends as much time getting ready each day as he does on homework and he does both quite well. - No Dialogue -
