We're looking for actors to portray various roles in a unique theater/multimedia production. We're staging an interactive experience that will require a mix of live performance, re-recorded video and improvisation. This piece will take place in a re-created 20's/30's Hollywood movie studio and embody the archetypes that their names entail. We're looking for actors of the noted gender and age ranges for each of the following parts:
The Studio Boss [male; age 30-60]: fast-talking, cigar-chompin' showman
The Diva [female; age 20-40]: smoky and seductive, her career's about to slip through her fingers
The Money Man [male or female; age 20-60]: The loan officer; fastidious, queit, forceful.
The Writer: [male or female; age 20-60]: nervy, suspicious, hard-working, except for when they have writer's block. . .which is often
The Film Editor [female; age 20-60]: competent, no-nonsense, and always ready with a smart-ass quip
The Cinematographer [male or female; age 20-60]; foreign, not used to how these lazy Americans make movies
The Inventor [male, 20-30]: small town country boy, awkward around everyone but his inventions
