Casting Call: "River's End"
Drama Short - Troubles at home convince a twelve-year-old boy to run away with his imaginary friend. As their goal of reaching the ocean becomes unattainable, their resolve will be tested and their friendship challenged.
The film is a low-budget pay project with a guaranteed premiere at the Rose Wagner in front of a sold-out crowd in November 2011. Pay will be worked out per individual Actor selected.
Casting for the roles of:
THOMAS- Age range: 10-15
Thomas has always been neglected and mistreated by his parents, making him very shy. He is very quiet and only lets himself go around his imaginary friend, Erik.
ERIK Age range: 10-15
Erik is Thomas' imaginary friend. He likes to play and have fun, but will be the first to take charge when in a serious situation.
KAREN Age range: 29-35
Karen is Thomas' mother. She had Thomas at a young age with her then-boyfriend, Sam. She has never really cared to much about her son, but more for her relationship with Sam.
SAM Age range: 30-40
Sam is Thomas' father. He doesn't seem to care about anything other than himself. Not even his wife and son.
Casting will be held in Downtown Salt Lake City on Wednesday, June 8 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.
