The SLCC film department will be holding auditions next week, September 17 and September 19 from 11am – 4pm. We are holding open auditions as well as auditions for specific roles in films that have just begun preproduction. 

Three films have entered preproduction for which they need talent.

Enough Rope is the story of a Pete who's just been released from a 10 year stretch in prison after being set up by his best friend, Ted.  
Actors: 
Male – early to mid thirties, athletic. Ex-con
Male – mid to late 30's, fit, street-wise thug
Female – late 20s to early 30's, street wise, fit
 
Problem Solver is a story of admission of humanity, of baring the soul. JANE, an attractive woman in her early 30’s, befriends JOHN, a 40ish businessman, in a neighborhood bar.

Actors Needed:
Female: mid 30s, business type
Male: early 40's, business type
Male: late 40s, business type
Woman: mid 30's, housewife (non-speaking)
child: girl or boy (non-speaking)

Sundowner: Professor George Green, is 78 year old widowed, retired professor living a simple life. He putters in his garden, plays golf with friends and spends time with his family.

Actors Needed:
Male:  Attractive, clean cut, male mid to late 70’s. Dramatic, character actor. Professor George Green, widowed, retired professor. Must be able to show emotional and to cry.

Male: Attractive, late 30’s early 40’s. Compassionate Doctor, professional, but sensitive.

Woman: Late 40’s early 50’s, attractive, professional. Jill; professor daughter.

Woman: Mid to late 20’s.  Stephie; professor’s granddaughter and Jill’s daughter.

Woman: Late 40 to 50.  Joan; pharmacy tech.

Woman: Late 30’s early 40’s: Professional woman.

3 males: Late teens early 20’s: Group of boys, punks, attitude.

We will be auditioning for these roles on Monday September 17 and Wednesday September 19.
