Priscilla On Tour, LLC is casting singers for "Priscilla Queen of the Desert." Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott, book; Simon Phillips, original direction; Ross Coleman; original choreo.; Roberta Roberts, general mgr.; Telsey + Company/Craig Burns, casting.

Rehearsals start Nov. 29 in Las Vegas, NV. Performances run Jan. 8, 2013 in Minneapolis, MN; May-June 2013 in L.A.; June-August in Las Vegas, NV; and are ongoing in other major cities.

Seeking—Bernadette: male, to play 40s-50s, outstanding acting, singing (range adaptable), dancing, and lip-synching ability; LEAD. Mitzi/Tick: male, to play 30s, outstanding acting, singing, and dancing ability; baritone/tenor; LEAD. Felicia/Adam: male, to play 20s, outstanding acting, singing dancing, and lip-synching ability; tenor; LEAD. Bob: male, to play late 40s-60s, outstanding acting ability, minimal singing ability; LEAD. Benji: boy, 8-11, to play 8, requires a good actor who sings; LEAD. Note: Seeking two actors to alternate as well as understudy the other in this role. Shirley: female, 30s-50s, good ironic comedy, character acting, singing (solo and ensemble pieces), and dancing ability; ensemble. Marion: female, mid-30s to early 40s, strong singing and acting, will be required to sing and dance in ensemble numbers. Cynthia: female, late 20s-30s, Asian, character acting, singing, and dancing ability essential, ensemble. The Divas: three females, 20s-40s, all shapes and sizes welcome, but brilliant vocals in the disco-belt style with flexible range is a must, will also be part of the female ensemble. Miss Understanding: male, 30s, African-American, ability to deliver Tina Turner numbers convincingly is a must, character acting, singing, and dancing ability, mostly all ensemble pieces with one key scene (the opening number). Frank: male, late 20s-early 40s, character acting, singing, and dancing ability, mostly all ensemble pieces with one key scene. Jimmy: male, late 20s-30s, African-American, any traditional dance is a huge plus, character acting, singing, and dancing ability, mostly all ensemble pieces with one key scene. Young Bernadette/Farrah: male, late 20s to mid-30s, must be a brilliant mover and look stunning and believable as a woman, character acting, singing, and dancing ability. Male Ensemble: males, 20s-30s, must be 5'10"+, excellent dancers who sing well, to play a variety of characters, any drag experience is a plus. Female Swing: female, 30s, spectacular singer who dances well, must have a flexible vocal range, to understudy female ensemble members. Male Swing: male, 20s-30s, must be 5'10"+, excellent dancer who sings well, to understudy male ensemble members.

Casting Calls will be held Oct. 11, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. (10:30 a.m. sign-in; adults) and 4-5:30 p.m. (3:30 p.m. sign-in; children)

Prepare a short selection of a pop or disco song showing range. Children may prepare a contemporary musical theatre song if they don't have a pop or disco song. Bring sheet music; a piano accompanist will be provided. Bring pix & résumés stapled together.

Callbacks will be held Oct 12-14.

Seeking—Actor/Dancers: males and females, all ages, any ethnicity, Las Vegas-based; must be able to do an Australian accent.

Non-Required Chorus Calls will be held Oct. 13, 10:30 a.m. (10 a.m. sign-in) for females and 1:30 p.m. (1 p.m. sign-in) for males   A monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

Wear form-fitting attire. Prepare a short selection of a pop or disco song showing range. Bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. Bring pix & résumés stapled together. Males: No drag for this dance call; bring jazz shoes or sneakers, and heels. Females: Wear heels.
