Auditions NEXT WEEK
Tuesday and Wednesday June 15th and 16th 4PM – 9PM Both Evenings

Local filmmaker Kevin Lacy is looking for gifted actors to star in his final student project at the University of Utah. Shooting is scheduled to commence mid-July 2010 and is expected to last three days, though actors should be willing to commit to more time if necessary.

This film is a non-paying student film. However, food will be provided on shoot days. Also, for those actors looking to gain greater exposure, the film, once finished, will be submitted to national and international film festivals as well as film contests around the globe.

You can still be considered for a role if you do not have these, but please at least include a photo. Please specify for which character you would like to audition and what night you would be interesting auditioning.

Only flexible, committed and ego-less actors will be considered. Do not bother e-mailing if these words do not describe your personality.

The Other Volunteer
Inspired by “2 B R 0 2 B” by Kurt Vonnegut

Synopsis:
In a near future where fears of rampant overpopulation are quickly becoming reality, a new law has been passed: For every person born an adult must volunteer to die.

After years struggling to conceive Jake and Ava suddenly find themselves pregnant with twins. Trouble is, they only planned for one Volunteer. It is up to Jake to find someone else to die so their children can be born. Who will be The Other Volunteer?
