Please find below details for a casting audition session held Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in SLC for a Female (Caucasian) with strong Boston accent, ages 25 to 55. Callback’s will happen the same day.
Audition spots are limited so please select a few of your best non-SAG actors with good comedic character and timing. This is a contest project and quality of acting is essential for this caliber of production. Storyline | Synopsis |
This short is for Project Greenlight. It's a contest by Matt Damon and Ben Afleck in conjunction with HBO and Miramax. Our short is a comedy about a woman confessing at a drive-thru confession booth. (similar to drive thru wedding chapels) The lead (Joyce) will have blazing fast dialogue as she confesses her eccentric sins and even tries to have the bewildered priest absolve her premeditated future sins bound to occur the next week. |

Lead: Joyce Joyce is our eccentric lead who's confessing her sins at a new "drive thru confession booth" similar to Las Vegas drive-thru wedding chapels. Joyce speaks a mile per minute and is somewhat neurotic. The whole piece will be shot in one night. The talent must be able to handle long takes with blazing fast dialogue. It is imperative that they have a believable Boston accent. The pay-rate is $400 for the night. Besides payment the talent will have the opportunity for their work to be seen by Ben Afleck, Mat Damon, and HBO/Miramax producers. |
