Draper Arts Council will hold auditions for its June Amphitheater show on Tuesday, March 25 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 26 from 7-8 p.m. Callbacks will also be on March 26 following the hour of auditions. All will be held at the Draper Amphitheater (944 East Vestry Road). The performances will be at the Amphitheater June 6, 7, 9, 13, and 14.

Audition forms and information sheets are posted on the art council website. Auditioners should come prepared to sing 16 bars of a song in the style of the show (an accompanist will be provided) and learn and perform a short dance sequence.

So what is the show? A down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination!
