“Marriage and Healing Mormon Message”
Cast Breakdown
Shoot Dates: ONE day between 20-25 of May
None of the cast will have any lines in this spot. Real Families and Extended Families are strongly encouraged to audition. This is a very ambitious, dramatic, short-film style video for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ “Mormon Messages” campaign. The “Mormon Messages” campaign has received a combined 35,539,517 views to date on YouTube. This particular spot will be a powerful message about strengthening marriages and the Producers strongly encourage talent with strong feelings about strengthening marriage to audition. The pay is very low. Although you are not required to be a member of the LDS Church, all performers will be required to maintain the Independent Contractor Standards provided at the end of this breakdown. Featured Lead – JOHN (late 20’s/early 30’s): Caring husband and loving father of one son, John is featured recovering from a traumatic and sudden car accident that almost took his life. He is also featured a couple years later with his wife, who is then pregnant with their second child. He believes marriage is a permanent and precious relationship, which provides a safe and secure environment for children to be loved and cared for, among other things. Real mother/father/son pair encouraged.
Featured Lead – SAMMY (late 20’s/early 30’s): Caring wife and loving mother of one son, Sammy is featured at the bedside of her potentially dying husband, John, who is recovering from a traumatic and sudden car accident that almost took his life. Sammy is also featured a couple years later with John, pregnant with their second child. Sammy believes marriage is a permanent and precious relationship, which provides a safe and secure environment for children to be loved and cared for, among other things. She will be required to give an Academy-Award winning, deeply emotional response when John wakes from being unconscious. Real mother/son pair encouraged.
Featured Support – SON (2-3): Needs to be able to give an Academy-Award winning, emotional response when he hugs his mother in the hospital waiting room waiting for daddy. Real mother/son pair encouraged. Only needed for about 4 hours.
Featured SAMMY’S MOTHER (40-50): Seen in hospital waiting room waiting anxiously for word about John’s condition. Only needed for about 4 hours.

Featured ELDERLY JOHN (65+): Most likely will have back to camera holding Elderly Sammy on a park bench at sunset (this is the really feel good moment). Only needed for about 1-2 hours.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR PERSONAL STANDARDS COMMITMENT
While I am on any set being used by Producer or any property owned by Producer or any of its affiliates, I agree to abide by the following standards of personal conduct, consistent with the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (“Church”). I understand that failure to adhere to any one of these standards constitutes a breach of this Agreement and is grounds for ending my participation in the Project and/or for terminating this Agreement.
1. I will abide by the standards of living taught by the Church. This includes being gracious, courteous, and considerate of others, observing high
principles of honor, integrity, and morality, and seeking to demonstrate in daily living those moral virtues encompassed by the restored gospel of
Jesus Christ as taught by the Church.
2. I will be honest in all behavior. This includes not stealing, cheating, plagiarizing, knowingly giving false information, or being deceitful in any way.
3. I will respect personal rights. This includes not physically or verbally abusing any person and not engaging in conduct that threatens the health or safety of others. I will treat all individuals with respect and will not harass or engage in illegal discrimination against any person.
4. I will respect the property rights of others.
5. I will avoid drug abuse. This includes completely refraining from the possession, use, or distribution of any illegal narcotic or drug as defined by applicable law. This does not preclude a person from taking medicine as prescribed by a licensed practitioner of medicine.
6. I will not use tobacco, alcoholic beverages, tea, or coffee.
7. I will observe high standards of decency. This includes behaving in a chaste manner, dressing modestly, and refraining from sexual, disorderly,lewd, indecent, or other obscene conduct.
