CASTING CALL

A short comedy about friendship, ducks, and bullets.

Based on true events, the film revolves around two college friends, Jordan and Benjamin.

It’s their last weekend before Benjamin leaves to the Peace Corps, which gives Jordan one last chance to persuade Benjamin to stay. 

To do so, Jordan decides to indulge in the great American pastime of handguns by going on a shooting trip neither of them will ever forget.

ROLES:

Benjamin (20)

Looks like he could have been a member of The Kinks, with

his shaggy haircut and boyish face. Brunette. He’s Jordan’s best friend.

While he’s quiet and pensive he’s still apt to make poor decisions.

Limited or no gun experience is preferred, must be comfortable firing firearms.

Gun Clerk (35-60)

All-American Joe. Looks and sounds like the great Western spirit is still brewing from within.

Preferably a huskier and more intimidating build, but no particular height and weight in mind.

Please come prepared with sides. They do not have to be memorized.
