BYU Casting a comedic short film titled You and Your Cocoon. There are two leads who we will be paying a daily rate of $150 and one supporting role who will be paid $100 a day. This said rates are negotiable. 

Jed one day encounters his life long best friend and current roommate in a
mysterious cocoon and must learn how to adapt to change. Your Cocoon and
You is a comedy about acceptance and trashy hipsters. 
 

MAJOR ROLES:

[JED] 25 Jed is a dirty hipster. Think Urban Outfitters, but from a dumpster. Jed

doesn't want to grow up, he lives off of unemployment checks and his best friend

Tony. He is slim with shaggy hair. Sports a mustache and facial scruff.


[TONY] 25 Tony is an ex-gamer and sci-fi movie lover. He is in a transitional

stage of trying to actually act like an adult. He is engaged to a girl he knows is

too cool for him. He is trying to look like a "J-crew kind guy," but he doesn’t have

it in him. Average height and weight.

 

MAJOR SUPPORTING ROLES:

[KARA] 24 Engaged Tony, the love of her life. She is very tolerant of his “past

lazy ways.” Average height and weight. Pretty. Kara dresses well, but simple--

never too flashy, nothing frilly, she is definitely not a tom boy.


Casting sessions will be held on Saturday February 2nd in Provo, UT
