A disconnected young teen is faced with reality when he discovers, on a visit with his grandfather to the doctor's office, that his grandfather is quiting his chemo treatment.
He is then in a race against time to convince his grandfather to stay on his chemo treatment.


The DP on this film is TC Christensen and will be filmed on both the Epic and the Red One cameras. The screening will be at either Warner Bros or Universal Studios. This film will be entered into various film festivals around the country.


Derrick 17 year old boy. (If the actor is 18 would be great). Athletic basketball player. Loves video games and hanging out with friends.

Gorge Early 80’s is Derrick’s grandfather. He is a family man who loves his grandchildren and tries to stay apprised of his grandchildren.

Mother 40’s daughter to Gorge mother of Derrick. She is a fast pace woman who is a stay at home mom.

Trevor 9 wants to be like his brother Derrick.

Bill Early 80s a childhood friend of Gorge. He never really had a family married for some time but divorced.


Mark 60s a friend of Gorge. Was also in the fire department with Gorge.

Dennis Early 80s He is good friends with bill. He has lung cancer loves to smoke his cigars. Has a family but hasn’t seen them in years.

Kenny Early 80s He is going deaf but used to be a used car salesmen.

Tara 27 a beautiful nurse who works hard but has compassion and loves to help those around her.

Debra 30 Nurse for the cancer patients. She enjoys her job and to know everything about everyone.

Doctor(30 to 50) he is a good man who cares about his patients and wants to help them out the best he can.

Old man as old and sickly as we can get. He represents what gorge will become with his cancer. And the gilt that exists in Derricks hear.

old mans daughter. She’s a business woman who is taking an hour of her work day to take in her father. She is more interested in her work then her father.

also need extras 2-5 cancer patients. And 2-4 nurses and office staff.
