PARK CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Raleigh Studios is one of the largest independent motion picture studios in the world and is making its way to Park City.

Greg Erickson appeared on Good Morning Utah Tuesday to discuss the new location coming to Park City.

The Sundance Film Festival, hosted by Park City, has brought much international interest in film to Utah and bringing Raleigh Studios to Park City will take the interest to the next level.

"Utah has done a really good job in bringing movies and the motion picture industry to Utah with the incentives and now we'll capitalize on that and bring a motion picture studio," said Erickson.

Raleigh Studios produced Iron Man, Avatar, Twilight, Transformers, as well as many Marvel Comic movies.

According to Erickson, Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 are currently under production.

The Raleigh Studios location in Park City will consist of major motion picture studios, post production, live television studios, international film school, and much more.

"We should have something in the ground by 2013, with an expected build-out over the next three years," said Erickson.
