area in early March. I’m trying to set up a week of local
auditions in February.
Principle Characters Breakdown
COURTHOUSE CRISIS SCENARIO
Suspect 1 - $300
MALE. Age 20 – 30. Any ethnicity. Role is a suspect that has entered a courthouse with a gun intent to do harm. Some dialog and physical acting required. (i.e. falls as if pretending to be shot)
Deputy/Baliff #2 - $250
MALE. Age 25 – 50. Any ethnicity. Role is you’re on duty in a courthouse when a call for armed men with guns goes out and you have to respond to a situation. Some dialog required.
Suspect #2 - $300
MALE. Age 25 – 35. Any ethnicity. Role is you’re a suspect who got into a courtroom with a gun and who is now holding the judge hostage and willing to hurt people. Some dialog and physical acting required.
Suspect #3 - $300
MALE. Age 25 – 35. Any ethnicity. Role is you’re a suspect who is willing to harm people, that has made his way to a courtroom cafeteria with a weapon and who has taken a hostage and now has to negotiate with deputy’s on scene. Some dialog and physical acting required.
Judge - $200
MALE. Age 35 – 55. Any ethnicity. Role is you’re a judge who has been taking hostage by a suspect who has gotten a weapon past security and into the courtroom. Some dialog physical acting required.
Hysterical Woman - $150
FEMALE. Age 35-45. Any ethnicity. Role is you have your young daughter with you and are working in your office at the courthouse when an armed suspect comes in and takes your daughter as a hostage and tells you not to follow. Some dialog required.
Young Girl Hostage - $250
FEMALE. Age 10 – 15. Any ethnicity. Role is you’ve been taken hostage by an armed suspect and separated from your mother. Some dialog and physical acting required.
PATERNITY PANIC SCENARIO
Suspect - $300
MALE. Age 18 - 40. Any ethnicity. Role is you’re a father who just learned through a paternity case that your child is not yours. You become distraught/suicidal and begin threatening to drop an infant child over a bannister rail while having an argument with your estranged wife.
Estranged Wife - $150
FEMALE. Age 18 - 40. Any ethnicity. Role is you just got out of a paternity hearing where your husband learned your child is not his. Outside the courtroom husband has the child and is threating to jump/drop baby after learning the news.
SPLIT SECOND SCENARIO
Suspect 1 - $300
MALE. Age 20-50. Any ethnicity. Role is your character has overpowered and wounded a deputy during a courtroom hearing and has taken the courtroom hostage. Suspect is deranged and suicidal. Some dialog and physical acting required. (i.e. falls as if pretending to be shot)
Deputy/Bailiff - $200
MALE. Age 20-50. Any ethnicity. You respond on scene to the distress alarm and find a suspect with a gun and hostages. Some dialog and physical acting required.
Judge - $150
MALE. Age 35 – 55. Any ethnicity. Role is you’re a judge who has been taking hostage by a suspect who has gotten a weapon from a bailiff. Some dialog physical acting required.
Main Hostage - $150
MALE or FEMALE. Age 25 – 40. Any ethnicity. Role is you’ve been taken hostage by an armed suspect. Some dialog and physical acting required.
DEFIANT DEFENDANT
Suspect 1 - $300
MALE. Age 18 – 35. Any ethnicity. Tattooed preferred. Role is for an angry gang member on trial who becomes so upset that he picks up a pen and charges at a witness to get him to stop talking. Some dialog and physical acting required. (i.e. falls as if pretending to be shot)
Witness - $200
MALE. Age 18 – 35. Any ethnicity. Tattooed preferred. Role is you’re called before a courtroom to rat on your fellow gang member for drug trafficking. Some dialog and physical acting required.
Lawyer - $150
MALE. Age 25 – 50. Any ethnicity. Lawyer defending your client who is being charged with drug trafficking. Some dialog and physical acting required.
Prosecutor - $150
MALE. Age 25 – 50. Any ethnicity. Prosecutor trying to charge a gang member in a drug trafficking case. Some dialog required.
STARVED CRAZY SCENARIO
Transient Suspect #1 - $250
MALE. Age 30-50. Any ethnicity. Homeless male that has wandered into a courtroom cafeteria in search of food. Suspect is emotionally disturbed and becomes hostile after being refused service. Some dialog and physical acting required. (i.e. falls as if pretending to be shot)
Transient Suspect #2 - $250
FEMALE. Age 30-50. Any ethnicity. Homeless female that has wandered into a courtroom cafeteria in search of food. Suspect is emotionally disturbed and becomes hostile after being refused service and asked to leave.
Cafeteria Employee - $200
MALE or FEMALE. Age 25-50. Any ethnicity. Employee that is confronted by 2 transient suspects asking for food, who has to ask them to leave when they become emotionally disturbed and begin to cause a scene in the cafeteria.
