Mainstage is our performances for the public and uses age appropriate actors, typically mostly adults, but is specified by show. The Children's Theatre encourages all young actors to audition regardless of available roles. This gives the young actor experience in auditioning and also allows the theatre to get acquainted with the young actor for future roles.

Adult actors receive a $150 reimbursement account for their participation in productions.

Auditions are open call, no appointment needed.

Boise Little Theater is holding auditions for "A Christmas Story" at 2 PM on September 26 & 27. Needed are 2 men & 2 women ages 30-55 and 5 boys & 2 girls ages 8-13. Performance dates are Nov 27 - Dec 19.

Due to parking lot maintenance please park in the Elks Rehab Hospital parking lot and walk to the back of the theater.

Boise Little Theater (BLT) is located at 100 E Fort Street in Boise, Idaho.

* Those auditioning MUST provide their own accompanist (or sing accapella). We will not provide an accompanist for you.

* Rehearsals will be limited. Music must be learned "on-your-own."

* We are unable to pay at this time.

* Singers will be responsible for obtaining their own music. (See our blog, unipac150.blogspot.com, for the website from where music may be obtained.)

* Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings in November. There will be one (or two) music rehearsals in October. There will be no rehearsal on Saturday, November 28th (Thanksgiving weekend). Tuesday, November 24th is still being decided upon.

* Performances will be held on Monday December 7th and Tuesday December 8th in Midvale at the Midvale Performing Arts Building.

* Tech/Dress Rehearsal will be held on Saturday December 5th (morning to afternoon)
