UTAH ~ INDIE FILM AUDITIONS ~ PAYING PROJECT

We are holding auditions for a local indie feature this coming Saturday
28th from 9 to 5pm. Location TBA. The film will be shot in a period of 2 to 3
months, weekends, ON and OFF. The script is 124 pages long. It is a paid gig.
Logline:
When members of a dysfunctional family are reunited by the death of their father, they are faced with painful, humorous, and ultimately poignant reminders of the meaning of love.
Note: The movie also deals with the effects of PTSD in military families.
Characters description and traits
Jeremy Bliss: mid 30's. Average body time and height(5'10"-6 max), blue eyes-kind look, soft features.
Traits: complicated, insecure, entrepreneurial spirit, rude, argumentative, ambitious, loves collecting toy cars since he was a kid, wants to be successful in life but can't get through the wall of insecurity, always dealing with personal daemons and the painful memories from his childhood.
Alice Bliss: late 20's early 30, pretty, friendly look but also able to express certain sadness through eyes, long hair-short hair(good) not shaved or bold. Light and dark eyes OK.
Traits: She works as a stand up comedian, goofball, life of the party, insecure, frustrated, in need of affection, childish at times, frank, jovial, cries for no reason. Brings positive balance to the family.
Dante Bliss: mid 30's, singer-songwriter, shaggy hair, average height(5'10"-6 max), good looks. Actor-Musician preferred. Light and dark eyes, OK.
Traits: suffers from anxiety(stage fright,phobia) insecure, timid, introvert, calm, soft spoken. great singer, sings his heart out, soulful. . ., he's a one album singer, only one hit song then disappeared.
About the project:
This is an ultra low budget feature so the rates are per project only (one time fee). Selected actors will get half of the money up front and the other half after movie is completed.
Rates for all roles: $450/project
We are still working the filming dates. First of all we want to make sure our cast is solid and ready. Because of the random nature of the shooting dates we will be able to work with everyone's schedule. We will have one table read with complete cast and after that three complete rehearsals with just main cast.
