Midvale Main Street Theatre (MMST) is casting "The Little Mermaid Jr." Project description: "In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice." Cassidy Ross, dir.

Performances run March 7-9, 2013 at 7 p.m., with a 2 p.m. Saturday matinee at Midvale Main Street Theatre in Midvale, UT.

Seeking─Kids: males and females, 6-18, all roles available: Ariel: female. Prince Eric: male. King Triton: male. Sebastian: male or female. Flounder: male or female. Scuttle: male or female. Ursula: female. Ensemble Roles: males and females.

Auditions will be held Nov. 16, 6-9 p.m. at Midvale Main Street Theatre, 7711 S. Main St. (700 W.), Midvale, UT.

Come prepared to sing 16-32 bars of an upbeat song with accompaniment on CD or iPod. A cappella is fine as well. There will be no accompanist available.


Callbacks will be held Nov. 17, 4 p.m. Come prepared to dance at the callback.
