Singer/Dancer Requirements:

  • Audition appointments are not required.
  • All candidates must be at least 16 years old by March 30, 2013.
  • All candidates must provide one (1) current non-returnable headshot and one (1) performance resume.
  • All singer candidates must prepare to sing two contrasting songs (one (1) up-tempo & one (1) ballad) in any style. Each song should not exceed 1-minute in length. Provide legible sheet music in the appropriate key as an accompanist will be provided. Accompaniment on CD or iPod is also allowed however, music with the original artist performing main vocals, or on a cassette tape, will not be accepted.
  • All dancer candidates, who do not wish to sing, must prepare a one (1) minute routine which showcases both technical and performance skills.
  • All candidates must be able to move well. Some candidates may be asked to attend a call back the same day at which time a dance combination will be taught. Bring appropriate attire, please no costumes.

Contract Dates and Schedule

Rehearsal and performance dates may vary depending on the position and the specific production. Rehearsals may begin as early as late March. Rehearsals are held weekdays, Monday thru Friday, in the late afternoon/ evening. If needed, one Saturday morning/afternoon rehearsal may be scheduled. Shows open Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Throughout June, July, August and weekends in September all shows will perform 6 days per week, which include Sunday. Live Musicians

Lagoon Entertainment is seeking experienced Musicians with energetic and outgoing
personalities to perform in a new entertainment experience. Currently seeking the
following musicians:

  • Keyboard
  • Guitar
  • Electric Bass
  • Drums

Requirements:

LIVE AUDITIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED BY INVITATION ONLY!

Please submit a preliminary audition video packet. The packets are to include:

  1. A live audition video, not to exceed a total running time of 2 minutes in length,
    and should include a showcase of the following musical styles:
    • Rock
    • Country
    • R&B (Optional)
  2. One (1) current non-returnable headshot with one (1) performance resume.
  3. A list of three (3) name & phone number references.

Preliminary Audition Video Packets are to be submitted by Wednesday, January 16,
2013 either by email at entertainment@lagoonpark.com, or on DVD mailed to:
