Hello Agencies!

The Media Services Department of the LDS Church is producing a voice over piece entitled “Treasures: The Story of Latter-Day Scriptures”. We are holding auditions for the following – specifically those who can do dialects well (ie: not over-the-top):

WHO

·         Female Narrator (30s/40s – personable, informative, warm)

·         Joseph Smith (late 20s/30s – personable, a gentle strength in his voice, good actor)

·         John Taylor (late 20s/30s – Cumbrian dialect – NW England)

·         Willard Richards (40ish –Boston, MA dialect – Kennedy like)

·         E.B. Grandin (late 20s/30s – New York dialect)

·         Mary Elizabeth Rawlins (Mid teens – girlish voice)

All roles are paid. Those hired must be temple-worthy members of the LDS Church, and must be eligible to work in the United States.

Due to heightened security measures at the LDS Motion Picture Studio, only those who signed up for an audition will be allowed on the lot. No exceptions.

Step 3) Click Here to access the sides, and prepare the appropriate role for your demographic. FYI: For those auditioning for the roles of the Narrator or Joseph Smith you may only be asked to perform one paragraph due to time restrictions, but please be familiar and comfortable with all of them.
