Mise en Abyme - Casting Call

We are currently looking for the lead actress for our short film ‘Mise en Abyme.’ The film will be similar in style to our short film ‘Predestination.’ You can view the trailer for ‘Predestination’ here.

For our Director of Photography, we are pleased to work with Mike Call, director and cinematographer of ‘Raising Fluffy,’ and camera operator on Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours with James Franco. The film will be shot on the Canon C100 Cinema camera, for outstanding picture quality and a truly cinematic look.

For ‘Mise en Abyme,’ we are looking for an actress with a unique and memorable look and great on-screen presence. The age range for the role is 20-26, or someone who can pass for that age range. We are open to various different types of looks, and encourage all interested to submit their headshot and resume, and full body shot if available to danielbeanfilms@gmail.com.

Our previous short film was made with no budget, and with the hard work and talents of all involved. As such, this role will also be unpaid, but will be an excellent opportunity to build the actress’s portfolio and gain more exposure. We will be submitting the film to film festivals around the globe. The actress will be given credit both in the film and on IMDb, and an IMDb page will be created for her if she does not have one already. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cinema and working with other up-and-coming talents who are also passionate about their work.
