Audition time is 7pm January 27th. Those wishing to audition may prepare a brief 1-2 minute monologue in the style of the play. Otherwise, they will be assigned a cold reading from the script at the time of auditions.
5 male roles, and 4 female roles available. No available roles for children.
Performances will be April 25th-30th.

Auditions for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, directed by Annie Fields will be held Sat, Feb 5 at 10:00am.

Mrs. Beaver FEMALE aged 25+ (Scottish Accent)
Unicorn MALE OR FEMALE aged 16+
Leopard MALE OR FEMALE aged 16+
Fenris Ulf MALE aged 18+
Dwarf ALREADY CAST
Father Christmas MALE aged 35+
Elf MALE OR FEMALE aged 8-12
Tumnus MALE aged 16-35
White Stag MALE aged 16+
Aslan Followers Various Forest Animals, MALE OR FEMALE, adult and children aged 8 and up.
Wood Nymphs 2 MALE 2 FEMALE aged 10-14
Witch’s Army MALE aged 15 and up.
All roles but the Beavers need to be able to do an English accent. If you can not do an English accent at auditions, it is ok…just need to be willing to work on it.
There will be a dance number in the show and we will need some strong dancers, especially in the 4 kids and the Unicorn, Leopard and White Stag.
For auditions, work on the monologue provideat the information counter at Calvary Chapel before you come, using an English accent. We will have people read from script at callbacks.
AUDITIONS are Sat, Feb 5, 10:00am in the Calvary Chapel sanctuary. Come with picture and resume, no need for a head shot, a school picture or candid shot will be fine.
CALLBACKS will be held Mon, Feb 7, 7:00pm in the sanctuary.
REHEARSALS start Feb 12.
REHEARSALS will be held M, T, F nights 7:00pm-9:00 or 10:00pm and SAT mornings 9:00am to Noon. Most parts will need not attend every rehearsal until the end.
A tentative calendar will be posted on the bulletin board. TECH REHEARSALS will be
Sat, Mar 26, 9:00am-5:00pm,
Sun, Mar 27, 4:00pm-9:00pm,
Mon, Mar 28, 6:00pm-10:00pm and
Tue, Mar 29, 6:00pm-10:00pm.
PERFORMANCES are Thur, Mar 31, Fri, Apr 1, Sat, Apr 2, Thur, Apr 7, Fri, Apr 8, all 6:00 call time. If you can’t be at all the TECHS and all of the PERFS, I am sorry but we can not use you. Also all will need to be at every rehearsal the week of Mar 20-26.
If you are a parent and have kids cast in the show, we will need 2 or 3 parents to help watch them during rehearsals and performances. We can work out a schedule when everyone is cast, but need you to commit to this before we cast your children.

SCERA Announces Jan. 22 Auditions for
Night of Broadway
(Orem, Utah) – For the second year, SCERA is producing a concert event entitled “Night of Broadway,” featuring traditional and contemporary Broadway showtunes performed by local actors and vocalists.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 10am-12Noon in Room 101 of the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem. “Night of Broadway” will perform six shows on stage, Feb. 4-12 on Mondays, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm.
Auditioners ages 12 and older should come prepared to sing two Broadway songs. You may or may not be asked to sing both and the producers may have you sing all of part of the song. These songs should be pieces you would like to be considered for inclusion in the show if you are cast.
There will be just a few rehearsals, and you may be asked to participate in some group numbers as well.
No appointment is necessary to audition. SCERA will provide a boom box or IPOD playback or you can bring your own accompanist.
