Draper Arts Council announces auditions for "Beauty and the Beast." Come prepared to sing 16 bars of a musical theater song and learn a dance combination. Needed are children under 14, and a boy, 6-8 years old, with previous acting experience to play the role of Chip.

Hopelessly devoted to 'Nunsense'

Murray Arts in the Park will hold auditions for "Grease" and "Nunsense." Needed are actors 16 and older. Come prepared to sing 16 bars of a theatrical song; those auditioning for "Grease" should come prepared to dance.

My name is Ibsen Santos and I am directing Othello this summer in Ogden UT,
for Beehive Theatre Company. 

I am in DESPERATE need of a African American actor. No one auditioned, and no one seems to be interested in playing the role. I don't want to cast a white man as Othello and put make-up on him,
that is shamefull!!!! But I will have to do something if I don't get anyone.

We rehearse Tuesdays from 6 to 10 and Saturdays from 10am till 2. For Othello I would need an extra day a week, but that can be arranged depending on shcedules.

Performances are May 28th, 29th, 30th, June 4th, 5th, and 6th.
