Dark Water Productions is casting Silhouettes, a drama about a young deaf girl named Tess and her struggles to pursue her dream of dancing. Helen McCready, casting dir. Shooting Aug. 2011 in Las Vegas, NV.

Seeking—Instructor Ana: female, Caucasian, 30-50, a kind and caring ballet teacher, no dance experience necessary, does not need dancer body however it is preferred; Mother: female, Caucasian, 35-45, a drunk and unfit mother, should be able to play mother of Jessica Noel Ruettiger; Four to Six Young Dancers: girls, ages 7-14, all ethnicities, girls in a ballet class, basic ballet skills preferred but not required, there will be lines and featured roles among the young dancers; Four to Six Adult Dancers: females, 16-25, all ethnicities, girls in an advanced ballet class, basic ballet skills required; Announcer: male, 30-45, Caucasian, classy gentleman to announce the spring ballet concert; Judges: male & female, 30-45, all ethnicities, upscale individuals who would run a conservatory of dance.

Auditions will be held Aug. 12, 4-6 p.m. at Casting Call Entertainment, 2790 E. Flamingo Rd,, Las Vegas, NV. Bring pix & resumes, if available. Sides will be provided at the audition.
